Horrible service huge waits. While I do understand they were short handed. The rudeness is where the issue is here. The lady that sat us literally threw the menus at us. The lady who served us threw our drinks. Then we waited a good amount of time for food we all three ordered English muffins they didn't come with the meal took 10 min to get those. Then all 3 orders were thrown on one plate. The assistant manager or manager did nothing to help the staff who were fighting and yelling at each other she did nothing to clear tables or help out wort experience ever. STAY AWAY DONT COME HERE. Aldo was another lady who ordered 20 min after I did the waitress obviously knew her and they got there food the same time as ours locals are welcome others stay away was the vibe I got HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS.
I was so satisfied with the service and food quality at this restaurant, so many bad experiences lately I almost gave up going out to eat 100%, then I paid the bill...which for 2 people was only $31.56...I gave a $4.28 tip....but my card was charged $44.58??? Kinda rubbed me the wrong way after all was said and done. I have called the Mng. Left msgs... no return calls. That's almost $10 more charged on top of my tip I left, the receipt I signed and the amount they charged...completely different? How sad such a great time couldn't turn so negative.
The food is good when it's hot. Our server Cassidy was rhe WORST. She spent 90% of the time visiting with her friends. She blamed the Cook for cold food. She took 3 orders and never put them in until she was done talking to her friends. Problem is she was also acting manager. She made other servers deal with customers. If you go don't sit in her section.

This place has gone way downhill! Hash browns, bacon l, even the pie was undercooked. I ordered through DoorDash but it seems if you want quality you have to dine in or go somewhere else!
I really like it here, is a really good place with really good waiters and very delicious food! What I really like as well is that it is very clean specially the cutlery’s!! ??
Today I had the Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing it was a very good salad and they used romaine instead of iceberg that made it awsome
The portions are so small for the price. This was $10 excluding the milk and coffee. For this price you get 3 mini pancakes, 2 eggs, half a banana and 2 strawberries with a small biscuit and gravy. Super disappointed. This is price gouging at its best
I understand being understaffed...but 10 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes at the table without being acknowledged then to be skipped as the server went to the table who was just seated & not ready to order. Let me recommend Dee's Family Restaurants. Seated right away & they're bringing my coffee as I type this.
I have always loved Village inn. The Salt Lake City location doesn’t provide the same efficient and friendly serving staff like South Provo, but the food and atmosphere is always homey, warm and gives you the same feeling of going out as a kid. Favorites: Fresh Spinach and Bacon Omelette! The Hollandaise Sauce makes the dish perfect. I also love their Strawberry Crepes and pie!
