Quick note: I’ve worked in fast food so I’m always extra nice to employees EVERYWHERE. The food is really good but the employees are literally the meanest people I’ve ever met. I’ve gone there on my lunch breaks a lot but I now drive 15 minutes further to a different location just so I don’t have to deal with how disrespectful and rude they get over asking for something like napkins or extra sauce. (Politely of course I’m not some kind of boomer-Karen.) I didn’t even eat my last meal with them because I saw what looked like the female manager spit in my food. I was so freaked out and disgusted I just threw it away and left. Trust me, there’s no point in eating the delicious food if you’re in a horrible mood from the employees. I don’t believe the two women I dealt with should be in fast food.
We ordered through the drive thru. Upon ordering we were told there would be a 7 minute wait for the chicken to cook. We were asked to park and wait for our food and they wouldbringitout to us. We were okay waiting the 7 minutes. Seven minutes went by, no sign of anyone bringing out our food. We had watched a few cars now get food and leave. Twenty minutes later, I walk into the restaurant, to be ignored while to girls employees stood around talking. There were lots of chicken in the pull area at this point. Finally one of the girls came to the register has if she was going to take my order. I explained to her that I was in the drive thru and was told my order would be out in 7 minutes and that it had been beyond 7 minutes. I showed her my receipt, she then took my receipt back to the back of the kitchen to someone, then came back and proceeded to slowly put the order together. At this point no apology for the wait, no acknowledgement of the problem, then another employee comes up and starts yo speedily put my order together. He then handed me my food. The only positive thing I can say about this experience is at least I got everything that I had ordered and paid for.
This was my first time at Popeyes. I went to the one located in West Valkey Utah of of 5600 west. I went in at about 2. It was obvious that the lunch rush had come and gone. The tasted like it had been cooked 2 hours before. The fries were old and cold and the person taking the order was ridiculous and not helpful in any way. Not sure if this is the standard operating procedure but I will never go back. If you are going to this one do yourself a face and drive another block down the street to raising Canes. If for no other reason the people are that work there are pleasant.
No utensils for the gross mashed potatoes and gravy. 3 piece chicken tenders tiny and chewy. Do I really have to put 1 star? It's a ZERO
Popeyes in general is great food and always fresh. This restaurant can be hit and miss since the pandemic. I don't know nt give a severe negative rating because of that. They did really well on my last visit on 03/12
Last night I wen to this location to pick up order. The lobby was locked when I reached there, it happened that one lady came outside to deliver order, she saw me and said wait a minute to me. I thought she would open the door for me. But she entered using side door, delivered another order, then told me to use drive-through to pick up order. I did it. The girl at window told me to put forward and wait about 5 minutes . I did it. I didn’t get anything after 20 minutes. Then I walked to the window to check. Another lady saw me and handed my order to me. That’s amazing! I understood if they were busy. In fact, they were not. But they kept me waiting 20 minutes. Thank you for wasting my time. You guys offered awesome service.
I used to love Popeyes, but lately quality has been dropping.Last 2 orders have been EXTREMELY fast at the drivethrough, but each have had things either wrong, or missing. I suspect Corporate is putting an emphasis on window times, ignoring quality.
food was descent , service was ok . but holy hell turn the heat on not the a/c in the dead of winter. felt like 35 degrees in their.
After watching numerous commercials thinking I’d try it out. Location is right around the corner from home that’s a plus. But the actual review is terrible KFC is definitely better for the chicken. It was hard to eat literally hard. Not the kind of crunchy texture worth another purchase. Only thing worth the $ was the potatoes with a spicy flavor, not bad at all.Manager or shift supervisor, wouldn’t you keep your head up on what’s being sold. Make sure the food is edible?? Total waste of my $30 purchase ??
They forgot 3 items and had to ask for them several times, they handed 1, and then would stare at me until I asked for next. It was ridiculous. I gave 2 stars for the food it was delicious, but they get 0 for customer service. Sad cuz I love Popeyes, and drive out of my way to go there.
