Enjoyed pickled radish, gunmandu, and bokkeummyeon. The restaurant was very busy. 30 minute wait for food after they took our order, but they warned us of the delay in advance, so it was reasonable. The food was very good. Definitely worth a return visit!
Wow what a great place to find. I wanted to try something different and so happy I did. I got the Kkanpunggi and the 4pc mandu. I asked for the kkanpunggi to be less spicy and also a bowl of rice for a side.The kkanpunggi was really amazing. The perfect heat. You can see and taste the fresh ingredients they use. The crispy and sometimes not was actually really nice texture-wise. The mandu was cooked perfectly and actually tastes good too. Both dishes were really good and I would recommend them.I’m only here for a couple days traveling for work but I could try a bunch of dishes they offer here. A couple things to note is the food portions are huge and not really meant for one person and they do not have the traditional bonchans found at Korean restaurants. Bring your appetite and friends for a good time.
Amazing authentic Korean food in a convenient location.I stumbled upon this place based on another review and couldn’t believe I’d never heard of it before.The restaurant is a casual space with booths and tables. You order at a table and they bring it to you. The menu has numerous options that I had never heard of. I’m unfamiliar with this type of Korean cuisine and wonder if it’s a different region than most Korean restaurants. Based on the huge portions, the prices were super fair. The server was really nice.I ordered what I’d come for based on pictures…the Jaengban Jajang. It’s a noodle dish with pork, shrimp, squid, and veggies. It was delicious!! I also had a side of the Gunmandu dumplings. They were okay, though honesty no different than mandu I’ve bought frozen. The sauce was good at least. All in all, a great meal.
Great food! Tried several different items on the menu and everything tasted good. Been going to this restaurant for awhile now and never had bad experience so far. Definitely recommend this place for good Korean/Chinse food.
Jajangmyeeon- A sweet bbq flavor that’s absolutely amazing! A must try I’ve never had anything quite like it! Wasn’t the biggest fan of the Jiamppong personally but it was definitely fresh! Staff was really nice and helped us pick food that we’ve never had!
Amazing meal. Pot Stickers are very good and high quality. The Kkanpunggi is super good if you like a little bit of heat/spicy. Servers were super helpful in choosing what to get since it was our first time!

Pleasantly surprised to find high quality Korean cuisine in Salt Lake City!I had my doubts walking into the restaurant.I haven’t had tangsooyook this good on the East or the West coast. I believe this location uses glutinous rice in its batter to create a light and flakey crust.The spicy jjambbong is actually spicy. They use cheong yang peppers to make it spicy.The jjajang rice was my least favorite, but it was still good. You can taste the wok flavor in the paste.Overall, highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.
Authentic Korean food, high quality. Every time it just doesn't disappoint us, we are frequent here.Our go to menu is Jaengban Jjajang and Tangsuyuk! There are so many to try and so far there wasn't an item that wasn't good.We recommended this place to many people and will continue coming back.
This is easily the absolute BEST restaurant in Utah. Firstly, the food introduces such unique and delicious flavors into your palate that it makes you rethink everything you have been eating your entire life. Not once have I ordered food and been served something cold, or reheated, it is always fresh off the pot. And the spices that you can add, and that already come with whatever you order are extravagant to say the least. Furthermore, the service is unrivaled. Anytime I order something without pork or extra spicy or adding in something else, it is always taken seriously, which makes it that much better. KC the owner is one of the kindest people I've met, with serving skills that are almost too good to be true. I eat here all the time, and have NOT ONCE been disappointed with anything, and I've almost got the whole menu down. It is criminal to not try this place out if you get the chance, I am positive you will love it! Unless of course good food is not your fancy.
