Are we such a wonderful place the restaurant ladies are so wonderful wonderful the servers are such nice ladies always great food it tastes so good and I love visiting with the restaurants servers servers they're so awesome and love when they visit with us.... They're like family and it feels like family when you go there we've been going there for so many years my grandfather has been going there and they know him and then remember him he won't be going there not much any longer because he has dementia but they still remember him the one young lady that works as a restaurant server I'll simply try it once I'm Russia excuse me hurt saying that but she is such a wonderful nice lady and she remembers my grandfather he comes in once a week still at least he tries and she's known him for years and she's so wonderful and nice thank you guys so much for always being so kind to me and my family for the years that we have been cominlater this is definitely the place to keep coming and West Valley and I appreciate all you guys always do for us and it is fully handicap accessible the price are responsible.
My experience is solely my opinion. Jim's has a nice country, small town feeling. Lots of pie choices available.Price (3.25) under $23 for single person breakfast with orange juice & tipToast (3.75) basic wheat toast cooked perfectly & the jam it came with was great.Cleanness (3.5) older look but was cleanService (4.25) server was kind, felt a bit rushed but was satisfied.Food (4.5 ) large portions, I got the Jim's breakfast, comes with cheddar cheese on top of the potatoes in which was pretty good, the egg was a little under medium well, bacon wasn't as crispy as I like but the meal was delicious, I ate it all.Parking (4.5 ) plenty but weekends could be different.Location (5) right on 3500 s. Easy to seeDrinks (3.75 ) store style orange juice, no free refills, but luckily water was.Food temp: (4.75) almost perfectly hot45 possible points37.25 points earned80% B- (4.1 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐)Would I return? I hadn't been to Jim's Restaurant in quite a long time probably 6 months or more and I'm sure glad I stopped in for lunch, after visiting my doctor's appointment I built up a good appetite and their food today was very good.. I had Salisbury steak dinner with salad and a cup of green tea!.. I really quite enjoyed it since I hadn't been eating very much in the last few months due to loss of appetite, but for some reason today I did really well having that awesome meal I probably will be going back again soon! I recommend JIM'S restaurant highly they do great job!!

Must say, first time eating at Jim's Family Restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, quantity and speed of service. I ordered the Vegetarian Omelette with Avacodos, hashbrowns, pancakes and a side of bacon. Server was on top of things bringing refills of coffee, asking how things were, brought the food out quite quickly in comparison to other restaurants, but great presentation not a "rushed" look!! Very good on keeping things clean and disinfected with covid, asking people to please wear masks into the restaurant, all employees also wearing masks. Good Job Jim's Team keep up the good work.

My group really enjoyed the food and the takeout experience was good. The staff filled the takeout extra bag with everything we could have needed including jelly and fry sauce. Would definitely try again.
Stopped in for dinner, seated quickly. I liked the old fashion style of the place. A younger server brought me a drink not long after I was seated. While looking over the menu an older server came over obviously in a bad mood stating she must be the only one working there that could take orders. At that point, I had not felt like I had been waiting to order for too long. While I waited for my food I watched as the same server went around complaining to every table which didn’t really leave the younger server anything to do as she seemed to be just taking all of the tables. The food was good but hopefully, the other server found a better place to work away from that other lady.
I've been going to this location for over 20 years. One of my favorite breakfast restaurants in the Salt Lake County Valley.They have a great selection of breakfast lunch and dinner items on their menu and other locations too!
