If you crave great seafood and great service then hook and reel is the place for you. They start you off with some Cajun chips, I also had clam chowder. Then came some delicious crab legs with shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. It was all smothered in their hook and reel sauce. I definitely plan to come back and try more items. I come from the south, and it doesn't get any better than this in Utah!
I’m honestly not a seafood fan, but this place is awesome! The tables come with paper table clothes that have games on it so you can play as you wait for your food. As you can see, they offer options for people that don’t like seafood. (I came here with a seafood lover lol). I ordered the bbq wings with sweet potato fries. Overall, great experience.
i stopped in with my date, on a friend's referral. we had a great time. the food was great. fresh, hot and steamy! we especially would like to mention your hostess, Christy! or should i say, hostess with the mostess??!! she was really great! we will definitely done with you again!
My wife and I had a great experience, The staff were really friendly and inviting. The food was very flavorful. It was a great place for a midweek date night. We loved the excitement of our waitress when she brought us the entree. She was super excited to open the boil bag for us! Made the experience that much better
The general manager was serving us at first l, because they were short staffed tonight. He did a great job and was vigilant in his customer service. However, there was a server named Cyllee. She came over and said sorry I haven’t been here, then laughed and walked off. Everytime we asked her for anything, she didn’t bring it back. We had to ask 3 or more times every single time for service. We also had to ask the manager to get our checks and boxes. She is a horrible server. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was cool. I just hope anybody reading this doesn’t get Cyllee as their server
We stopped by this establishment after an event at the Maverick Center.The staff was pleasant and helpful while we looked through the menu. Since this was our first visit we love to hear their favorite items.It was late at night, and they greeted us quickly with a warm smile.There was so much food that I had enough for lunch the next day. They were nice enough to package it up.My son let me know he ate there after an event, and had a great experience too.
We tried Hook and Reel on a whim after a family night at the movies. I don't generally enjoy seafood, but I couldn't stop eating the crab, lobster, and shrimp. It was all amazing! We can't wait to go back.The service there was outstanding as well, Jadin did a great job taking care of us tonight. He pointed is in the right direction for our individual dinners.

We went with the most popular “The Seafood boil” you can mix and match and get whatever seafood you like all a cart,Step 2. you pick a sauce ( The hook and Reel is all the sauces mixed, it’s alittle spicy but very good )Step 3. You choose your spice level.Step 4. You can add extra stuff such as corn potatoes, an egg, Noodles, rice, broccoli.~ Prepare to get Messy!They bring out Complementary seafood chips to start. I also tried the oysters I thoroughly enjoyed the garlic mixture they put on top, the oysters tasted fresh ??The seafood tasted great also to my surprise being in Utah. I was impressed.I got garlic butter and it was very flavorful, the seafood swims in the sauce until it goes in your mouth …Mmmm …Nicki was a FANTASTIC SERVER , she was on it ! ? and had great recommendations. She made me a special martini ? that was so yummy ?
