Fat fish never disappoints. Best sushi place in the area by far there’s no competition. Today was particularly amazing thanks to our waiter, Mario. He was so attentive and intuitive to attend to our meal and offer recommendations. He listened to our taste profiles and made sushi matches in tastebud heaven. He offered “chopstick helpers” to the kids and added his own touch to every visit back around to the table. He gave friendly, professional, and all around the best service we’ve ever had. Go for the sushi by all means, but the ambiance and service at Fat Fish will leave you wanting to experience this place again and again.
First of all, this was actually the BEST sushi I have ever had. Coming from California, I have searched high and low for good sushi and I have found it to be usually bland, overpriced rolls. We loved EVERYTHING and I probably ate more sushi than I have in my entire life in one sitting, we even joke that we still felt full in the morning.Also, our waitress, Eli, was AMAZING. She recommended so many rolls that we loved and was so helpful and made us feel like we were guests in her home. It was truly the best experience and not to be dramatic, but I don’t think I will ever eat at another sushi restaurant in Utah besides this one!
The sushi was delicious, the murals were beautiful, and I loved the iced Thai tea. Definitely an enjoyable experience and wonderful atmosphere!
Their service is awesome and fast, ambience is good, quite and very well maintained. I tried different rolls - California, spicy yellow tail, samurai, Vegas, shrimp crunchy, sunset and all of them were quick and very tasty. Vegas was my favorite off all. Jalepeno bomb was delicious. Must try Japanese place.
Favorite sushi place in Utah so far! Awesome bento choices too! I’m always hesitant to try sushi places that are not close to the ocean. We moved from the Florida coast where fishermen would dock their boats and haul the fish right up to the chef and they’d start cleaning and scaling them right away. Doesn’t get much fresher than that. However, Fat Fish has made me a believer that in a desert like Utah, delicious sushi can be made. If you don’t like sushi, they have great bento and the Korean short ribs were some of the best I’ve had here. Don’t feel like any of those? It’s okay, they have Pho!! Bring an appetite because they are huge. Really wish this place was closer to me but we don’t mind the 30ish minute drive to get here. Stamp of approval from:@longtravelers

Great food, excellent service, perfect price point. My spouse ordered sushi (tuna hand roll, marz roll, and King Kong) and loved it. The spicy edamame was fantastic!
If you love sushi as much as I do this is another great place to come and enjoy. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Favorite appetizers are the dragon balls and the jalapeño bomb. I've tried many different rolls and sashimi, all are great. They have amazing pho and the portions are awesome too.
A solid place in West Valley to grab some sushi, pho, or a bento box at a reasonable price and quality. The sushi has come a long way and they even have some hidden special rolls (such as the Dragon or Vampire).The P2 Pho is pretty good here too with a good balance of flavors and broth. For bento boxes, the Korean BBQ is really yummy with really tender bulgolgi.Overall, a great spot to hit up for some quick and well-made, no frills Asian food! It's also next to Fillings and Emulsions next door. Check them out for desserts afterwards!
