I was in town for business. Came to watch the hockey game. Ended up coming right back the next night strictly because Of the service of Melissa and Janae! Both nights ended up meeting fantastic locals and made me feel like my local bar! I travel to Utah frequently and will make sure I’m staying around this bar. Supper friendly staff! As we say in Canada… this is a beauty of a bar with a bunch of beauties inside!
The new management here has really turned this bar around. Tara is so kind and sweet she walked the floor and checked on everyone. Bridgette C.was my bartender and she was on top of everything. She kept me and my groups drinks full. I will definitely be back to this location.
Savannah is amazing! She’s really fast and let us know before we even thought about ordering that it was a 45 minute wait. Super sweet, she was even pre-busing so we didn’t have a lot of dishes in our way. Definitely coming back to see her:)
Great little spot for grabbing a drink and playing some pool after watching the hockey games at Maverick Center. Fun atmosphere, friendly barkeep, three pool tables with enough room to play a game without taking the butt-end of a pool cue to the eye socket. If pool isn’t your thing, there is plenty of room to simply sit and chat with friends, or you can even play some old-school Pac-Man. We didn’t order food, but drink pricing and service was affordable and fast.
Came with a group of friends on April 16 and the experience was horrible from the servers. Our server was Amber A and she acted so put out to come and take orders. She acted like her time was so put out to come and even take an order. She said they were so busy and when we looked they were just standing around the bar. It was like twisting her arm to get our drinks ordered or refilled. She definitely didn’t seem like our service was at all important to her. Once it came time to pay she took my card at the table. She handed me the machine to process the transaction and it had the tip option. I selected no tip because I have cash on me and always tip my servers with cash. She then took her machine back and proceeded to be very snotty with me and then said you know that you didn’t leave me a tip. I was appalled to even be questioned about my payment and tip. I always tip all of my servers with cash and never leave it on my card. I have never had a server grill me and put me on blast like that in front of my whole group. Our whole group tips with cash and to offend us and straight up say we didn’t put a tip on our card is so disrespectful. I would not recommend coming here, especially on a event night. Our experience was horrible and Amber A definitely acted like we aren’t important at all. This establishment needs to work better with their employees and have them be more polite and act like they care about where they work. Both servers we had were very disrespectful to our group. Our other server Alli was very forgetful and not on top of the ball either. She forgot to take part of our groups order and came back 10 min later. She struggled very much as well as all the others. We were a very calm group and spent a lot of money here for them to treat us like we were not worth even being here.
Pretty terrible service and god awful food. There were items on the menu we wanted to order, but the staff said, “we don’t offer that, but we leave it on the menu cause… corporate” which begs the question, as a chain do you just do what you want lol? I don’t think franchises work that way…. We ordered nachos which were just the worst. My beer was warm and flat.
Just went in for a little day drinking with the girls. Loved that it wasn't very busy, so service was excellent. I love all the Bout Times in Utah. They have some of the best bar food around. It's a little more pricey than some, but you pay for scary you get. Love the fact it's clean. Especially after covid. Still one of my favorites to hit.
Ordered whole monte Cristo, bbq wings with a side of garlic fries and 3 orders of fish and chips at 3:05! The lady on the phone said it will be ready in 30 minutes we got there 3:40. We got there and our food was cold. It was as if the food was sitting there for more than an hour. It was soggy and cold my kids didn’t want to eat the fish and chips. I can tell the food was not freshly cooked could’ve been leftovers and served in our plates. ? The monte cristo is my favorite food there and I am disappointed I wasted money on cold soggy food! Do better Bout time cuz this was not it! Disgusting!
Jocelyn was cool, great service! The rest of the servers here were busy hanging with their friends or intentionally ignoring.. I wondered if it was due to my skin color and/or my hair style!?
It was just ok. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich. I could only taste the breading, which is like funnel cake. It was very filling, could only eat one piece. The fries were too salty.
