Worst food I've ever had!!!! This does not reflect Popeyes as a whole. I've always had a good experience at different locations. The Sprite tasted like dirty sink water, I had to dump it out after the first sip. The fries tasted like Great Value frozen fries and the sandwich was tolerable at best. I would never ever go here again. Never. Actually rating of 0 stars(Just isn't an option).
Picked up a 12 piece family meal from drive thru window. Got home and opened bag to find all other bags, boxes and napkins wet from the heat. Removed chicken from box and what did I get, 6 drumsticks and 6 thighs. Not a single piece of white meat. Also pulled from enclosed bag my sides of red beans and rice and the coleslaw. The coleslaw was warm so had to put it in the refrigerator to cool. I am not a fan of legs and I hate thighs so I chose a leg and bit in. I immediately got oil shot into my mouth and up my nose. I put the leg on my plate so I can clean up and as I did so I watched as more oil drain on to my plate. This is one more Restaurant in Jordan Landing that I will not be going back to again. Also when ordering I asked for half spicy and was told it would be a 15 minute wait if I wanted spicy. Now there was nobody in the restaurant and only one car in front of me and one car behind me in the drive thru and the time was acouple minutes after 5pm so how could they not have the chicken ready.
Good is good Like any popeyes. But there always short staffed and if it is within 2 hours of close expect food that has been under a heat lamp all day.
The food was all right, the service was all right. There was just something weird about the chicken though. My wife ordered a breast and it was half breast half thigh. My thighs were half and half. It's not just this location. We try the Popeyes up north, they suck. I just chalk it up to all Popeyes are all going downhill. I just want some good old Popeyes like I used to get.
When it's done right, the spicy chicken is 5-star. But two thirds of the time the chicken is barely spicy or not spicy at all. It still has good flavor, but I could get good flavored chicken elsewhere.
I have to order a side of gravy every time I go because they think a couple tablespoons is adequate for a large mashed potatoes. But worse when you pay for it and get home and no gravy!!!!
Macaroni and Cheese was delicious! The spicy chicken tenders were SO disappointing and dry. I just didn’t enjoy any of it.
Who is doing your QUALITY control! Buy dinner for family that stopped by and THIS is what Popeyes wants me to serve? Unbelievable!!Won't let me add a pic. Burned, I mean BURNED bisquits.
Drive up ordering was kind and good. Got to window and no form of communication aside from my total. Quiet and cold nothing. Then forgot some of my order i let them know and they got it for me. Yet the shrimp was a extremely small bits and pieces mostly just fried buts if left over skin no shrimp. That is sad. And order was cold. It use to be so good Never an issue before this time.
I ordered a spicy tender box and I thought it was all fine until I got to my last chicken tender. I tried to bite it and it was hard. I looked and it was RAW. I was so shocked that I doubted myself and showed my friends and family. And it was indeed raw. I was so disappointed and felt nauseous after. Please please. Cool the chicken thoroughly! I’m glad I didn’t get salmonella. But please be cautious!!!
