This place has been a family favorite for years! The staff is friendly and the food is great. We have been going for so long that the staff all know our names and even remember our Birthdays. Everything we have ordered is delicious. If you can handle a little heat, do yourself a favor and order something with chile verde! Best chile verde around!
La Luna is my go to Mexican restaurant in West Jordan. The food is generally good with some things better than others. My favorite is the smothered burritos which are some of the best around. The only complaint I sometimes have is that quality varies day to day. Some days are more spicy than others and occasionally, it is just okay. Still giving it five stars since the smothered burritos are just how I like them.
Went with my family and none of us like this food. I order a carne asada with vegetables and the meat was hard and bland with no flavor at all. Not good customer service either. My mom ordered carne encebollada since she doesn’t eat spicy food, and we had informed the waiter. When she got her food, it was actually spicy and when we asked why it was spicy when we ordered no spicy and he just ignored our request. Definitely won’t be going back!
The staff was very rude, both in the phone and when we picked up our order. The food was very salty and just gross. It looked like a 5 year old made it. And that is NOT a burrito. I am from southern Arizona and I KNOW Mexico food. This is NOT Mexican food. Do not waste your time or money on this place!
Wow. I came here years ago and loved their nachos. We recently moved into the area and wanted Mexican so we decided to come to La Luna. Their food is delicious. My husband loves fajitas and theirs are now his favorite. Their combination plates have a ton of food…definitely enough for leftovers/lunch the next day.
We keep coming back because their food is good, but their service is bad 100% of the time. Their staff seem SO grumpy and the servers always act so inconvenienced to do anything for you. Poor service, but good food ??♀️.
La Luna is kinda a hidden gem. I took my daughter out and we were not disappointed at all. The environment is inviting and the food was delicious.
Really good food great service well worth the money I would suggest going here for great Mexican food
If you are of the dog species this place is amazing because it taste like dog food. Let’s start our culinary journey with the beef chimichanga. Traditionally shredded beef going into a chimichanga la luna has decided to go the ground beef route. Their ground beef was so dry. That it belongs in kibble. Now moving onto the flour chicken enchilada there chicken was also so dry that it also belongs in kibble. Service was decent and restaurant seemed clean. Perfect location to open a pup cafe.
If you’re looking for mediocre Mexican food this is your place. Nothing bad but nothing great.
