The food is sooo good and at a great price. I love the fish and shrimp tacos and their salsa bar. Cute view of the mountains.
El Mexiquense was fine. Staff was nice and the food was ready plenty fast. It’s just nothing special is all. You’re paying standard sit down rates but it tastes like street tacos. I paid $12+ for lunch, but could have paid $4 at a taco stand for the same lunch. I would be fine to go back if someone else wanted to go. But I won’t be pushing for another visit.
Oh wow! I always saw this eatery and was curious to check it out. Well, I checked it out and this joint is yummy! They got a great menu with lots to choose from. A very authentic place for your Mexican food fix.Try it, you'll love it...
I wasn’t a big fan of this place, it’s walking distance from where I live which is a great plus! But it’s not a place I would willingly go to! The meat was dry bland it was lacking flavor, the only thing I’d get from here would be their nachos, those were by far more edible than their burritos!
Don’t waste your time ordering for pick up. I placed an order 50 minutes ahead of my desired pick up time, I got the text confirmation that my food was ready & when I came to the restaurant they told me they messed my order up. I had to wait 40 minutes for them to make my new order, & when I got home the whole meal was wrong. I didn’t get one thing that I actually ordered. And what ever the food that they gave us was disgusting & filled with grease.UPDATE! Gave us food poisoning from the few bites we had. RUN from this place
Wished this was a better experience, maybe next time? Order the nachos with chicken, chicken was dry and overcooked, or at least it was staged too long. Ordered a carne asada burrito, just felt it was bland and missing something. The salsa selection was great and delicious! Menu selection was unique and had interesting things to try, I had a very refreshing piña/mango juice to drink!
The place is clean; other customers seemed to enjoy dining in; the menu was exciting and different; however, when the food came, it was only good. I was a little disappointed because the decor and menu led me to believe I was about to taste a discovery. Still, I recommend it.

Excellent food and great customer service. The gentleman that took our order today gave us great recommendations and was very helpful and friendly. We had the #2 and #11, both were fresh and delicious. The salsa bar was also so good! Different types of salsas/sauces to choose from. Inside was so clean. So glad we stumbled upon this place. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
