We enjoyed a fantastic dinner on Tuesday the 17th. It had been too long since last eating at Archibald's but it was another great experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were very generous. It was hard to choose among the variety of menu items but settled on the two lemon dishes. The service and staff were excellent! If you haven't tried Archibald's yet or haven't been here in while, just do it! Five stars and two thumbs way, way up! Thanks, Archibald's, for a great meal. Our compliments to the chef and staff!
Great service, mediocre food (neat building). Our waitress was great, if only the food matched the service. The chicken pot pie was more a bland soup and had little chicken. The chicken salad my brother got also had barely any chicken. The white chocolate bread pudding had the consistency of rubber. We enjoyed the building and the store there though, I just recommend not eating there.
I’ve only been to Archibald’s like 3 times and I have enjoyed it every single time. Such a fun restaurant with delicious food and it’s at Gardner Village which is so fun. My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s this year at Archibald’s. It was our first Valentine’s married. We did their special Valentine’s dinner for 2. It was so fun spending it there.
Food was great! The Garlic Butter rolls could make a meal themselves. The French Dip was exactly what we expected and flavorful. The dressing on the Lettuce Wedge salad was a bit blah. The Prime Rib was perfectly fine but a little cool when it made it to the table. The server made our visit fun. Only complaints were we never got our Fried Avocado and Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer (never charged to us and we were full anyway), and had to ask for drink refills.
Truly enjoyed my experience and meal! The food came in a timely manner, tasted delicious, and the server (Cody) was extremely friendly, attentive, and polite. We had the salmon and the chicken cordon bleu meals which were perfectly cooked, portioned and seasoned. The sauces and gravy were especially enjoyable.Definitely coming back!
This was my first time at this restaurant, they say, first impressions are everything. The wait staff was knowledgeable, and friendly.Although they were out of the beef stew, having the artichoke spinach dip was to die for. I ordered the French dip. Delicious. Even the leftovers tasted better the next day.I can’t wait to try the beef stew next time.Isn’t that what it’s all about?
Great service and really good food. That have gluten free and vegetarian dishes marked on their menu. They were very helpful in accommodating our larger group. My only wish would be that they would make reservations for large groups. I was a little nervous "hoping" they would be able to accommodate our group. It all ended very well, however.
Had a great meal at Archibald's but what made it even better was our server Jared M. He was so polite and accommodating. He made sure everything was perfect and there was no question that he loved serving us. Our experience there was important to him even though we were there on a busy day with 4 couples and each had 2 for 1 coupons.
Our waitress Heidi was great, friendly and got us anything we wanted.
Archibalds at Gardner village is so yummy! You can't get fried green tomatoes and avocado like that anywhere else!! The atmosphere is super homey and warm. The service was great and quick, plus there's a super cute store that you can look in while you wait for your table. The carrot cake was the bomb. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because of the price point. It is a little spendy for the quantity and quality of food. But I will 100% always come back.
