The food was perfect! Hot, fresh and cooked well! The service, however, was a bit lacking. One young man seemed to be holding the wait staff together. Our waitress spilled a plate as she was bussing another table, no big deal but she just left it. Minutes later the other waiter came by and picked it all up after helping his own table. This is only one example we noticed of him really hustling. The rest of the staff just seemed non chalant about the service they were offering.
Wingers is one of my favorite places to eat. I went in after work because they would have closed if I had gone home to change. The restaurant was only slightly busy, When I walked in, I was greeted and told someone would be right with me. After that I was ignored for about 15 minutes. The staff would look at me as they walked by. After it was obvious, I was not going to leave someone finally came and got me and sat me. I was the only person on in that area of the restaurant. After I was seated someone came and got my drink order, they made it obvious that they really did not want to be serving me. I knew what I wanted so I gave them my drink order and the food order as well. They brought the flavored lemonade I had ordered and sat it on the opposite end of the table from where I was sitting. When they brought out the salad, they did the same thing and obviously it had the wrong dressing on it. Then immediately the brought out the main course. Since I ordered finger food, they of course did not bring out any wet wipes. I finished the salad and before I could start the main course, they brought me the check. Before I was even halfway done eating, they had stopped by twice and asked if the check was ready to be picked up. I finally got frustrated and gave them my card. They ran the card and brought it back for me to sign. Since I was by the food preparation area, I was able to overhear the servers trying to figure out who got to go home. It was obvious most of them did not want to be there. The food was what I had expected, other than the dressing on the salad, The servers made it obvious that they did not want me to be there and that they did not want to serve me. They never checked on me to see if I needed anything other than to get paid. As much as I like wingers, I will never go back to the one in Saint George. I hope your experience there was better than mine. Thankfully there are a lot of other places to eat close by and they will be getting my business in the future. I hope the staff enjoys their vacations and at some time they remember who helped them pay for their vacations.
Wingers is a great spot! Fries are yummy, sticky fingers are pretty damn good! My wife had a burger and she said the patty was juicy and soft. The Ranch is a little watered down which some peeps like. Service is excellent and atmosphere is upbeat and happy. TVs all over with games on. I would definitely visit this place again and have a few beers!
This was my second time eating at a Wingers Restaurant. The first about 8 years ago.It was awful. Yesterday's was very good ?. I 'm anxious to go again! I thought everything would be very spicy. Which it was not.If you are afraid of to much spice, don't be.What I had was great! Chicken, bacon, avocado pounder. It just needed a little more mayo. So a very good sandwich all in all.
I love the wingers original sauce and sticky fingers. I like crunchy fries and theirs are very good. Had to ask for the coleslaw that was shown on the menu that goes with the meal and shouldn't have bothered it was taste less. The staff was trying to be friendly while being very busy.
Wingers is a great place to take a family for dinner. Good food choices and place for a dinner for the kiddos.
Very poorly run and it’s a shame. I will tell you right now if you use Door Dash or Uber Eats, they will likely mess up your order. It’s happened to me so many times now, I’ve stopped ordering from Wingers. Additionally, they won’t take responsibility. We just ordered $80 worth of sticky fingers, Door Dash dropped it off dry- as in no sauce. $80 worth of dry, rubbery chicken… nothing “sticky” about it. How they messed up an order so large isn’t much of a mystery… they simply hire the cheapest labor possible and it’s usually kids. But this was the last straw for me. When I called them, they said they couldn’t do anything about it, regardless of the $20 delivery fee and tip I paid to have it brought to my house. They just said it wasn’t their problem. Door Dash said it was their problem (who made and packaged the food??), but, after stumbling around for a few minutes, I merged in a call with the Door Dasher, who very kindly said he’d take care of it. Wingers wouldn’t do anything. Additionally, the restaurant is dirty, the employees are barely legal, and they could care less about their reputation. Do not eat here. After a few years of messed up orders, I can say it’s cultural. They do not care about you, so why should you, as a consumer, care about them? If you want wings, Buffalo Wild Wings is across the street, and there’s a reason they are always packed… they care about your experience. Wingers in St. George does not.
We were passing through and stopped by for some lunch. I would have to say this place was so good. The sticky chicken was the best and the grilled chicken noodles bowl was good too. We will have to go back just to eat here again! ?
Very bad experience, long wait times, food mess ups, it’s like no one pays attention to the customer, and ended up not even getting what we wanted until about an hour later. We asked for a discount for all the troubles and the manager had no compassion for how unsatisfied we were as paying customers and made us pay full price for food we weren’t going to eat. Never going back to to this place again.
Love the original sticky wings. They are crispy and sweet and tangy. I could eat here 5 days a week and still crave the wings and hot fries. Staff is friendly, service is prompt and food is hot.
