Food and great service ! Love their steak and rolls are wonderful!
I'm not sure what's going on in St George, but every restaurant brings your food on a room temperature plate, they are no longer Hot to touch plates. I Love the Hot plates as my food actually stays warmer/hot longer.Another thing... when you literally tell the waitress that you want your food hot & its ok to bring one dish out before another & they don't & one meal is cold & the other is hot it is so frustrating. The food itself was good, medium rare steak & sweet potato was excellent. Its better than the burnt steaks we received about 2 years ago.The chicken salad was okay. The chicken was cold & hard, would have rather had it hot & juicy... & it was supposed to come with bacon bits. I asked the waitress & she brought it out, but it could have been made correctly the first time. The rolls you get now are very tiny, but they bring more.Overall restaurants have gone down hill, but its an easy fix... Hot plates & hot food to the customers immediately, don't let it sit there & get cold waiting on another plate.
Texas Roadhouse has never been a disappointment to my husband and I. We are always so impressed by the good attitudes of the employees and the amazing food they serve. Tonight was just as good. We were especially impressed by our waiter Chris, who handled serving his assigned tables with a good attitude and a great smile. We will definitely be visiting again!
Great steak for a chain. Usually dont like it but tonight it was awsome.
Busy busy place but if you call ahead you can skip the wait. Amazing service. Extremely organized. The food was soooo good and huge portions that we had to take home with us. Our waiter was very personable and made sure we enjoyed our dinner and didn’t need to ask for anything. 10/10.
I have never had a bad experience at any Texas Roadhouse until I went to this location tonight. We showed up at around 6pm and there was a 40 minute wait, which is pretty standard for that time of day. Once we were called back inside and told there was a table ready for us we still waited almost ten minutes to be seated. After being seated, we were not brought any silverware, plates, or rolls. Instead, we had to ask for each item individually once we realized our server, Chris, wasn’t going to bring them out to us. Our server never came back to ask us if we needed more water, and he never came around to check on us after we had run out of water. Once our food was brought out, we immediately had to send back one of the entrees because they brought us the pulled pork platter instead of the pulled pork sandwich. After he took that entree, I realized that my entree was also wrong. I had ordered the sirloin/ribs combo, and they didn’t bring me my ribs. Once our server brought back my friends sandwich, I told our server that I didn’t get my ribs, and also that my steak was overdone. We also realized that the “sandwich” that was brought out to our table was made with the exact same meat that was put on the platter, so there was way too much sauce and the sandwich was inedible. After my ribs were brought out, my server also brought out a placard showing me what steak temperatures look like. I ordered my steak medium, and every part of my steak except the very middle was gray, so this felt very patronizing. We also did not get a side of loaded fries that my other friend ordered, so we had to wait for that to be brought out as well. At this point, we still did not have any new waters, and none of our food was brought out correctly (if it was even brought out at all). The ribs that I ordered were so over cooked that they fell entirely off of the bones, the bones were white, and the meat felt like chewing wet paper. Eventually, a different server came by who asked us if we needed anything, and then brought us more water. We didn’t see our server again until it was time for us to pay. He did not compensate us for any of the things that were ordered, except he docked 99 cents of off the loaded fries because he took so long bringing them out. After we had already paid, the manager, Cynthia, came over and asked us what happened with our dinner and I explained, as kindly as possible, what was wrong. She told us that if we had talked to her earlier she would have been able to compensate us for the problems with our meal, but since we had already paid for our food the best she could do was give us appetizer vouchers. We told her that we did not plan on returning, but she insisted that this was all she could offer. We accepted the vouchers, and left the restaurant, but all of us feel very disrespected by the service that we received tonight, and we were not able to eat even half of the food that was brought out to us.UPDATE: Two of the three people in my dining party (myself included) got food poisoning from the meals we ate.
I forgot how great the rolls are- just delicious! My steak was just right, my husband said his pork chops were too well-done. We took some home and I heated it up the next day and they were good, so I'm not docking them for the chops- I think it's perception. It's a loud and busy environment, so if you're looking for a quiet evening, not your best option. It's always busy, too, so if you're starving and want to eat right away, there are better options. But, as far as value for a good steak, it's one of the best in St. George. There are more expensive places, but I'm not sure the steaks are going to be better overall, which is why I think it's always so crowded. Because it's a high table turnover the quality of server is high because I think the servers get good tips. They can be picky on who they hire. Our server was better than we usually have at other local places.
We have been to many Texas Roadhouse restaurants over many years. Usually they are very consistent and very good. This was our worse experience ever. We were seated in the bar area at about 3:35 PM. We finally were able to order about 3:45. At 4:15 we had to ask where our salads were. They finally came out at 4:25. After asking, our dinners came out at about 4:40. The 11 OZ sirloin steak was very tough and 1/3 gristle. My food was cold. We had to ask to get soda refills. After taking our initial order, our server never made eye-contact with us again. It was like we were invisible. We love TR, but will not go back to this one.
The Texas Roadhouse chain is a favorite of ours and we have been patrons of the St. George store for over 3 years. In that time period there have been challenges: the Pandemic, kitchen supervision was lacking so food was sent back, certain menu items and beer choices weren’t always available, the freezer for beer mugs worked intermittently. Through it all we remained loyal but apprehensive on what our next dining experience would be. Fast forward to 2022 with new ownership & management and noticeable improvement. The kitchen seems to be supervised because the salads are fresher, steaks & Prime Rib are cooked correctly … let’s not forget the ice cold beer mugs! Thus far it seems CONSISTENCY has returned and for that we are very thankful.
Espectacular, todo muy ? rico, nos atendieron muy bien
