good but not great, the tacos we had, had a strange spice in it that we didn't recognize. Maybe Anice, cannot be sure, just was ok. The staff was friendly the food was just ok
Store was clean and staff friendly. The rolled ice cream tacos were okay. I didn't think there was much flavor to them even though the idea is unique. There is seating inside and out and there is plenty of parking. Prices are extremely high.
I was intrigued by the idea of taco ice cream and I’m definitely glad I came. I really loved this idea, it’s really creative. I ordered the strawberry chocolate taco and I recommend to everyone. ???
Thank you for having so many vegan options. I especially love the strawberry shortcake one. Just ask to make it vegan with the non-dairy base, no whip, and no cone. 4 stars because they got rid of their vegan cone options
Homemade fresh ice cream to order. (All ice cream is gluten free too for those wanting to know). Lots of options for ice cream, lemonades, teas, and such. Pictures of everything are well done and great to help you know what you are ordering. We didn't have a wait in front of us so food was made right away. I can see why others would say if busy there would be a wait. There were only 3 employees there when we went and it takes a while to make the fresh ice cream for each order, but not terribly long either. We had our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Only advice is for more tables and smaller tables. Maybe even better tables than cold metal ones. All they have is 4 tables meant for 6 people each. Ice cream is usually a date night kind of thing for 2. A bit of a cold building to where you'll want a jacket if you get cold easily like me.
I've always wanted to try rolled ice cream, and it did not disappoint! Generous servings, and even being short staffed those who were there did a great job! ?
Very poor management. Came on 4/30/22 and found two employees working, one of them a brand new hire. From what I could gather, two employees no call no showed. No management or owner on site and these two kids that are working are trying their hardest. I felt genuinely sorry for them. They did a great job and the product is great but the owner should drop anything they are doing and rush in if this stuff happens.
The wait is really long so if you have people waiting for their order and a line to order, you’ll be there a while assuming tonight wasn’t unusual. This was my first time here. My husband ordered a shake which they make using ice which makes sense since their ice cream is not scooped, however, it gave it much more of a smoothie feel which would be fine if that’s what you went into it thinking. But the ice seemed to really take away from any creaminess that you would expect. My “taco” was actually quite nice. Not overwhelming in flavor or sweetness which is nice. However, I probably would t have chosen to wait for the 30-45 minutes it took to get our order if I had known what to expect. The most annoying thing honestly wasn’t even the wait time though, if you watch the girls prepping the orders, there were a couple who just seemed really out off by the line and seemed to work slower while looking annoyed. I will say, there ere one or two who really looked like they were carrying the rest of them though. But when you have a big line, and a bit of a process to complete an order, you need more of those one or two people.
Really wanted to enjoy this place. The ice cream is good and well presented, but the organization of the order fulfillment is hazardous at best. To the best of my understanding, when the same order has been placed multiple times by different parties, they will make as many of those at the same time, even if someone ordered 20 plus minutes afterwards... We get that it was busy, but to wait 75 minutes between waiting in line, placing an order, and receiving said order, is honestly not timely. Especially when someone walks in 40 minutes after us, directly at closing time, starts receiving their order as we only got 1 out of 4 tacos. The line was to the inside of the door. So, if you find yourself at that point, expect a 75 minute wait... My two cents, make each order as they arrive, it's fairest to the customer.
I really enjoy Sweet Rolled Tacos! It's such a unique dessert and the presentation is fun. We made the mistake of going on a Friday night and waited over an hour for our order (with a toddler mind you), which definitely shows some need for change. The only saving grace was the free ice water they gave us. If you're ever up north, the other locations are a much smoother experience.
