Not cool, I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich today (6/16/2022) and they slapped a chicken breast on it with the bone.... It's a sandwich how the heck am I suppose to eat it if there's a chicken bone in it. Very disappointed. Find it funny how fast food demands a raise yet they make something you can't even eat unless you LITERALLY choke it down. I've ordered them in the past no issues it's been a long time since I've been there and after that no way am I going back I'd hate to see how they prepare other food, same with other fast food places at least I don't have to worry about choking on chicken when I order chicken from the competition.
I ordered a big box 10 piece at 2:05 and received it around 2:50. I called the store and asked for my order. I asked for thighs instead of the breasts. I did not get it. I asked the worker for a refund and he said would check with manager. He comes back out and says corporate policy says no refunds and the manager got mad for asking for one. Every single time I have gone to Popeyes in St. George Utah, I have had bad experiences. They have idiots working there. While I also sat there waiting for my food, there were other vehicles waiting for the same amount of time. plus it wasn't busy so this was very unacceptable. I will never go there again and I am sure they won't miss me but atleast people can read this and make a choice.
I absolutely love Popeyes. Great juicy chicken with the amazing spices that you love from a great chicken place. Wish they had their blackened catfish must be a seasonal thing. Fast and friendly service. I wish the dining room was open and available. Far better pricing then at KFC and in my opinion better quality at a better value. Love the Cajun fries as well.
They are SLOW. I got here at 9:15. They close at 10. There was five people in front of me and they took until 9:55 to take my order. Then they tell me they only have bone in chicken because it's five minutes until close. So I decide not to order, they then take another 20 minutes to serve the two people in front of me, so I'm am just stuck here waiting for food I was unable to order.I love their spicy chicken sandwich, so I continue to come here, but anytime I come here they take forever. Most the time they don't take an order until they have no one at the window. So you're waiting like 10 minutes to just order at the speaker.Chick-fil-A is now getting my business.
Check your order ON WINDOW, thank me latter!After the lady asks me about rice and beans (that I never have meat) I repeated everything, and double checked if “she got it”… got my bag and leave to find out on a park that my order was absolutely WRONG … well let’s see the good side, at least there was some chicken, fries, biscuits and… guess what! RICE AND BEANS ??
We usually enjoy Popeyes but not this time. Chicken tasted odd, service was super slow, forgot our dipping sauces, were out of salt, and if the side of rice and beans get any smaller, they'll have to call it rice and bean (as in one bean). Not good.
I love Popeyes but they need to reopen the dining room! Even if it's just for takeout orders. I am from out of town but am in the area regularly and would love to stop for lunch, but I have a trailer with me when I am in town. I walked in once and they asked if I was a delivery driver. Told them no, but wanted to place an order and they said I had to go to the drive thru. I replied with "I can't because I have a trailer" and they just said "sorry we can't serve you then"Quite disappointing. Used to be one of my favorite places
Got here at 6:15 tonight (Tuesday) we ordered (2) number 11 and an 8 count nugget combo. It's now 7:09 and still don't have our food. Kinda ridiculous that cars pulling up behind us have come and gone... even to this very moment. we stopped to get fast food, but fast is not how I would describe it.Update 7:09We got our food after my wife called the store to ask about the wait and we still ended up waiting 10 minutes after the phone call.Also the nuggets weren't in a meal like we ordered. No straws for the drinks or spoons/forks for the sides, kinda saw that coming....We had asked for a refund but Manager refused to refund us when we asked cause apparently you have a no refund policy. Its not like they brought us our food. It sucked because we had to get going and our babies were crying in the car the whole time. RidiculousTerrible way to end our day.
Been eating here maybe once every week or two for the last 2 years. One thing I've learned, is that you have about a 20% chance your chicken isn't cooked all the way. It'll be soft, wet, breading will just slide off, and holding it up it'll bend like a wet noodle. Totally uncooked. 80% of the time it's totally fine, but if your food and service seemed a little fast. It's probably cuz it was cooked too fast. Highly recommend the shrimp and new sides, which I now usually get. Rarely risk it with a chicken sandwich.
Good chicken without the expense. Sure, there are quite a few new styles of chicken restaurants but for sometimes half the price Popeyes is still better. Forget the colonel, the shacks, and the chix, Popeyes is better. Friendly staff and fast drive thru helps too.
