Nikki owner, Eli host in training, Chloe server, Gus and Nathan server asst, and Lizzie main chef were all awesome friendly and eager to please. When Lizzie learned I have a dairy intolerance she personally helped me select dishes and prepared special items. This group went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. The sage smoked quail, beet salad, iceberg wedge, hanger steak and trio sorbet were all excellent. The only somewhat disappointment was the special soup - carrot with jalapeño - simply because it was not spicy enough for our taste. We have dined here many times when in the area and will return.

My wife and I ate dinner recently at the Painted Pony. We were seated out on the outdoor patio area. Our server was Abe, who was outstanding. It was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. From the time we sat down until we got up to leave, it was just a fabulous evening. We got the steamed mussels as an appetizer. My wife loves steamed mussels, but she is very picky about them, and is often disappointed. She absolutely loved the mussels at the Painted Pony. They were excellent. They are drizzled with aioli, and the garlic broth is delicious. We each ordered a salad. That was our only mistake. The salads are so large that they should be shared. For her entree, my wife was struggling between the seared ahi tuna, which is always a favorite dish for her, and the apricot bourbon chicken special. My wife almost never orders chicken at a upscale restaurant for dinner. Abe encouraged her to get the chicken, and she didn't regret it. She said it was wonderful. I tasted it and agreed that it was fabulous. The multiple flavors combined perfectly. I got the petite tenderloin steak, which was cooked to perfection, and was absolutely delicious. I got a side of mashed potatoes. My meal was outstanding. At the end of our dinner, we were both stuffed, and declined dessert. But the meal and the service were both terrific, and we will return the next time we travel to St. George.

Often one can go to a fancy, expensive restaurant and get good but not great food and/or service. The food doesn’t justify the price. That is not the case here. Not only was the food delicious and well presented, but so was the service. What really impressed me, was that the bus boy was as helpful and attentive as the waitress. Everyone seem to take pride in their work, which we don’t find as much as we used to. The Grassfed ribeye was delicious, as was the truffle ruffles and the chocolate dessert. I would not hesitate to return.

Excellent food, service and ambience. We can recommend everything we ate: the baked Brie, the potato trout cakes (excellent), the bacon-wrapped duck, the lamb, the chicken and the hangar steak. The wine list is broad and reasonable - we enjoyed a sparkling rose brut from New Mexico (who knew?).

My wife and I ate here on a night we were able to get away from the kids, and we were blown away. Service usually tends to be pretty good in the St. George area, but our waiter took it to another level. Pair that with the excellent food (Rosemary-Spiked Ribeye and Hangar Steak entrees), and it made for a memorable night. We will be coming back here again!

We frequently travel through St George on our trips. We have had two Anniversary Dinners here over the last 10 years. We have friends traveling with us so we had dinner. Absolutely fantastic dinner. Great food, outstanding presentation and fantastic service.

5 star food and service in a great setting. A little hard to find but well worth the trip. It’s located upstairs in an office building and has a great deck for dining.

No complaints. I went there for lunch, which is served to 3:30 p.m. and is a completely different menu than dinner. My appetizers (quail with risotto cake and baked brie) were huge and enough to hold me over for dinner. The waiter, Charlie, was attentive and on-game. No complaints. The wine list was extensive with significant options, both by the glass and the bottle. Outside patio is superb. Would totally return. Highly recommended.

Restaurant is small, decorated well and easy to find. A variety of menu options for different choices. Wait staff friendly and helpful. Did not rush the diners. Has an elevator if stairs are a problem. Full service bar for those who enjoy adult beverages. Cost is on the higher end however probably the standard for this category of dining. Parking tight as the restaurant is located in the same location as several other restaurants. Enjoyable place for conversation and dining with friends

Our server was Charlie- he did a great job orchestrating all phases of the meal. Onion soup won an award for presentation but the content left us wanting. We we’re also confused by the excessive rock salt. Bread pudding side item was spicy. Fried cheese side was a highlight. Steak and pork chop were fine- medium on steak was a bit more well done than expected. I expected higher quality food for the price range. The excellent service gave the extra star in our review.
