The service was super friendly. I was greeted immediately. After deciding on a hot fudge sundae (with nuts and a cherry on top), I took a seat in the clean and relaxing dining area while I was entertained by watching the employees fill previous orders with the fresh churned frozen custard from their massive machines.Then it was my turn. The first bite was heaven. So were all the others. They were not chintzy with the hot fudge or the nuts either. It came out just right.It was fun to see the friends and family groups come in and enjoy delicious custards, sundaes and cones together.
It really is as good as they say. I try not to buy or fall into the hype of things but this really is great. My picture is horrific but I got a chocolate Oreo caramel shake. Money, money, money. I wanted to bathe in it and hook it to an IV for myself. I wish they had peanut butter and that would make it perfect, but they still deserve their 5 stars yes?
Neilsons is always a great choice as is clearly seen by their long lines during peak icecream-getting hours. With dozens of flavors and mix-ins to choose from, there is something here for everyone to satisfy that homemade custard flavor. This place is iconic and will forever be on my go-to list when I want something sweet.A point of frustration is their card readers. I know first hand how expensive card companies are getting with their processing fees and I know that dealing with them can be a nightmare, but for the past two years they have had the same dinky card readers and cash registered older than my dad that continually have issues accepting payments both via card and tap to pay. This needs to be fixed as every time I try to pay there is some holdup or failure and I have to hope I have cash on me that day. Please look into upgrading your card readers to fix this consistent issue.
Our first time here. We really enjoyed the frozen custard. Will definitely return. We weren't really sure about the differences of the items on the menu but the guy at the counter was so nice to explain.
I’ve been coming to Nielson’s ever since I was a young lad. Now I enjoy bringing my children so they can experience the sweet creaming taste of this lovely establishment. The staff here is incredible. My friend is partially deaf and doesn’t always know when his cream is ready. They do a great job of calling out his name loud and clear so that he is fully aware that his cream is ready. Anyways 5 stars, recommend Nielson’s to the world.☺️
I'm a custard connoisseur and needed my treat after my meal and this was a delightful vanilla custard. I got a pint of caramel cashew and it was good too.
Ice cream was poppin off but the service was so trash like they didn’t even know what was on the menu legit didn’t believe me when i ordered strawberry cashew smh also the workers are way unprofessional and frankly just annoying to be around. They should have an order online option so you can just pick up your order and leave. Staying inside for more than 10 mins made me wanna kill myself.
This is the best custard in Saint George, very good a creamy. It is a cute little place reminds me of a 50s dinner. I love it, this is a must see in Saint George.

Dissatisfaction this time…used to be awesome product, awesome people and portions…I mentioned that I thought that they were VERY skimpy on the FC Dipper…the staff just laughed thinking I was being funny, I reiterated and asked if they would add more; flatly told no.FLATLY will not recommend. Sorry to see such a place slip so badly.
