Tried La Botana for the first time tonight for dinner. I was so impressed! Their tacos were delicious! Definitely recommend if your looking for some amazing Mexican food!

Arrive early if you want dinner from here. Drive thru is constantly closing before 7:30pm on week days, even when google states they close at 8pm. They don’t even care if you are in line already for 20 minutes only to get to the window and be told “sorry we closed”. It’s pretty common in this town for Mexican places to open or close at whatever time they choose to!

Came here with my husband and he asked for extra chips with his meal. When we were getting close to the window to pay, we were met by a woman who walked out of the restaurant to argumentatively tell us that they already put enough chips with their food. She was holding our food but wouldn't hand it to us until after she chewed us out. It was almost like she was holding our food hostage until she told us her piece. Very bizarre! She was very rude and unprofessional, but eventually gave us our food. I had another family member who had a similar experience with the same woman who actually ended up refusing him service. They've got good food, but it's not worth dealing with her unprofessional and rude behavior.

A TASTE OF HOME!! We just visited and we’re blown away! We had the Birria Asada Taco’s, normal asada tacos with onions/cilantro, a fruit bowl & the pink Fresca drink. The flavor was out of this WORLD!! You can tell they put a lot of effort in the overall flavor of their menu items. We’re from FL and have fruit/taco stands on just about every corner. I can say hands down these were the best tacos we’ve had in YEARS! The mild verde sauce was my favorite! Usually in FL the verde sauce tends to still be very spicy even though it’s “mild”. LaBotana’s was so yummy that even my 5yr old daughter was wanting it.I can’t wait until my family visits from FL so I can take them to this fine establishment & treat them! They will definitely be seeing me in there as often as I can & I can’t wait to go back! The only thing I wish they had was fresh coconut. Although I understand that it’s not as available as it is in FL. But I love fresh coconut in my fruit cup. That will not stop me from coming back. They definitely have won us over!!10 out of 10!!!

TOSTO-ELOTES. Get it, thank the restaurant with a tip, you will not regret it. Probably the best tacos I've had in Utah.

The best food ever! By far the best Mexican restaurant in st George. The ala pastor chimigana is to die for! The street corn in a cup is amazing, and the best refried beans I've ever had! Anyone that reviewed this place bad has the typical St George taste bids which are bland!

Delicious! Legit Mexican food. Excellent quesabirria. Savory sauces. Very nice staff.

After driving past the place for a long time we decided to give it a try. Being a SoCal transplant we're pretty fussy (some say snobby) about Mexican food and to be honest good Mex food is scarce in SoUtah. This place was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the selection was large and varied. We both got hard beef tacos - both shredded beef and steak. We both agreed the shredded beef were better. I tried the cheese enchiladas and they were OK - nothing special. Wife got a mango slushy fruity drink that she really enjoyed. The meals came with beans and rice which were the downside of the meal. The beans were typical of the area and were passable. They did use Cojita cheese on them which was nice, but the rice was not very good. It didn't look like or taste anything like Mexican or Spanish rice. It was white with little flavor. For sure I'd take a hard pass on getting it again. The menu had several other items that will bring us back to try. It is more of a fast food type of restaurant even though they have several 4 person booths. The meals are served in aluminum dishes or paper plates with plastic cutlery. If you're looking for a traditional sit-down restaurant with chips, wait staff etc go to Don Pedro's.

Just ate street tacos here with my daughter. They were amazing! Also, they have really good Aguas frescos. I'll definitely be back!

It was across the street from where we got gas. Figured we'd get a convenient bite before hitting the road again. Surprising inexpensive for right off the freeway. Fast service (drive thru) & VERY good food. The red salsa was especially good & complimentary to the burritos. My friend with me is vegetarian & really enjoyed the bean & rice burrito. If you're traversing I-15 thru St. George, UT, this place is DEFINITELY worth the stop.
