Good enough food but they have a lot of signs making it seem like customers aren't welcome. "No dining in!" " We can refuse the right to serve anyone". Not a welcoming atmosphere.
This is the best Hawaiian food in the area. The people here are the best! First place in my life where I could order as “my usual” and it never disappointed. Thank you island grinds!
What i love about there food is that it taste so good and it is awesome i would go there very day on my lunch break! That is what i love about island grinds. :) ;)
This place is amazing, it brings back my amazing collage memories . My Dixie College roommate and I would eat here when her family was in town. It was such a treat for us. The shrimp is the best, the Service is warm and feels like home. Can’t wait to bring my family
Yes, the Pupu chicken was really good. I'll have to try more dishes here. Call first though. Kudos for the covid protocols where 95% of the population does not wear masks.
Great food, but slow. Expect to wait 15 to 25 mins.I've eating here several times and their food is amazing. They are probably the slowest Hawaiin food place in town. They have a steady pace of customers, but everytime I've gone it s never busy; but still takes longer than it should to get your food. If it wasn't for the slowness of the order; I'd give them 5 stars.Note: this place only accepts credit/ debit cards. No cash.

I came here during the lunch rush and waited a decent amount of time for my food. I ordered the $5 combo with Kalua pork. When I got my order, I noticed they gave me the wrong drink. I was just thinking maybe they have a cool green colored fruit punch. It was Mountain Dew, which I'm not a fan of, but I was in a hurry to get back to work so I didn't worry about a drink. When I got to the break room at work, I saw the receipt and it was the wrong order completely. I was #43 and they gave me order #44 which was Pupu chicken. It was my first time here and I heard a customer saying he always orders the Pupu chicken so I wasn't going to complain. I'm the guy who shows up to the party if you say free food. Despite getting the wrong order, I was very satisfied with my food. The chicken was great, the macaroni salad is better than your family's macaroni salad at every summer BBQ. It was super good. I will be back to get the pork next time. Friendly staff.

Great place to get Hawaiian bbq if you’re in the area!My bf got the chicken pupu, and he loved it. I tried a piece and wish I had gotten it too! Their chicken katsu was the best I’ve ever had! The macaroni is overly peppery, I may opinion. But my bf who loves things to be heavily seasoned really liked it. Beef teriyaki was good but not amazing.It was easy to order. We have the employee a name and phone number, and they texted when it was ready. The person taking orders had a mask on, but none of the kitchen staff did, but they had the back door open for ventilation.We would eat here again next time we are in the area. Gotta have more chicken pupu!
