The girl taking our order at the register came across as very hostile. From the tone in her voice to the way she was pressing on the iPad aggressively. Making us feel extremely uncomfortable and like we were putting her out for clarifying the details of our order. The vibe of the restaurant was super off! Firehouse is one of my favorite restaurants and I wouldn’t be leaving this review if this was the first time this happened. But just last week on my birthday I went in for my free sandwich and I have a very similar experience with this exact cashier.
My husband and I walked in about 6:20pm. We were the only customers at the time. 5 or 6 employees standing around. The floor looked as if it hadn’t been swept for days. (I wish I could post the pics I took.) It’s always the same: 5-6 employees horsing around, there never appears to be any adult/manager supervision, orders take too long, incorrect orders, lots of health violations. Employees need to take food handlers class again and maybe again.I see that a lot of other people have made similar posts. There are a few replies that say sorry and that there will be changes. I have yet to see any.
We ABSOLUTELY love Firehouse Subs! It’s our family favorite! Every sub is delicious and tasty. They have the best app and it rewards you for using it. The cookies are so yummy! They have the best pickles that come with their subs! We have been VERY happy with their employees, they are very friendly and cheerful. I love that they know me and remember me.We were happy with the night crew today. They did a great job and were very friendly! They were professional and quick. Our subs turned out perfect! If you haven’t come here, you’re missing out!
This firehouse is a complete disaster zone. There was one customer in front of me and I only ordered one sub and two Mac and Cheeses. Going on 20+ mins waiting while the 3 employees are doing nothing. The place looks like a tornado has come through here. I'm kinda shocked to how bad it is to be honest.
We were really looking forward to the meatball subs with pepperoni. The last time we checked, the pepperoni was $6.00 extra per sub. Outrageous. So we stopped eating there. We checked today and it was only $1.50 . Nice. We were disappointed to find no pepperoni after getting our subs home.
Just ordered turkey bacon ranch sandwich. It took 20 mins and they had 5 workers. They were just standing there and not knowing what to do. After I ate I had to go straight to the bathroom. I feel the young kids working there don’t care about serving foods and the cleanliness of the food. Please don’t go there it’s not worth it. There Zapas right next to there and it a well better option.Update; I got food poisoning from this place. Avoid at all cost! Please put a review if others got food poisoning. This is highly unacceptable.

First time going here. Fast service. Friendly staff and helpful. Food was very good. I highly recommend giving them a try. I will definitely be going back!
I understand they were understaffed, however at least one thing was wrong with every item. Incorrect toppings, wrong bread, wrong soup. It took 20 minutes from entering to picking up order to-go. No one, even employees were wearing masks, no one socially distanced. I should have turned around and give some place else but we were traveling and Firehouse used to be a solid choice.
The employee taking my order had cat hair all over his uniform. They didn't have any soups, which is fine, but when I ordered a salad instead they left off a few of the advertised ingredients. Then I listened to two employees fight over who had to make a sandwich. I was one of three customers in the shop. Not a good experience, should have left when I saw the cat hair.
