So we showed up around 915-920 or so, and after checking the hours we saw that they didn't close until 10, we drove over here only to be told that apparently they had already shut the grill off and was only serving ice cream. 45 minutes before they closed and they were only serving ice cream, we were incredibly disappointed and upset and will not be returning.
The service has been slow for a while due to under staffing, but tonight was the worst. This time only 6 cars were ahead of me at the drive thru and the inside counter ordering was closed and only desserts were being made. It took 20 minutes for me place my order, and 25 minutes later I still had 2 cars ahead of me to pick up my order. At this point it had taken 45 minutes to serve 4 cars, so I pulled out of the line and went into the grocery store. At the store it took only 3 minutes to get basically the same ice cream order from Ben&Jerry's and Haagen Dazs and pay via the self-checkout. It took me a full hour to get back home to my family with our dessert. It would have been nice to get a heads up from the DQ staff member that the wait would be over 45 minutes.
I went through the drive thru at 7:45 pm and was waiting in line for like 20 minutes. I am very patient and know that they are doing their job, but as soon as I got up to the window after paying, I noticed my order was wrong. I was patient and calm and asked them if I could get the burger that I originally wanted. They let me pay for it at the window and went to get it. A few minutes later, they come back saying that their grills are shut off and can't get it for me ( they don't close for another hour and a half and also have cars waiting in line to order). I which got a refund. If only their employees were as good as their food...
This Dairy Queen is by far the worst location. We’ve tried to come here a couple times and always end up leaving. The drive thru is terrible. They take way too long it’s honestly ridiculous. I always see others leaving the drive thru as well. Just not great.
I have come to this dairy Queen multiple times (out of procim5 to my house) since it has opened and every time their drive-thru is the slowest drive-thru I have ever experienced. Not only does it take too long for somebody to greet me at the order board, the line moves slower than a tortoise with a bear on its shell.
It was 1:45 Monday and we stood at the front for about 3-5 minutes with no customer service. Had a guy look at us twice and didn't say a word to us, just kept on doing his thing. We ended up not getting serviced and walking away to our business somewhere else. About 4 different couples were eating ice cream in the lounge area, so it wasn't like they weren't open, just lazy employees.
got there at 9 pm and went to order food, then was told they closed the grill, asked to speak with manager about that and was told manager isn't on duty??? seems very unorganized. the fact you stop serving food an hour before close is completely unheard of for any food business in town, and the fact a bunch of teens are running this business alone with no supervision is actually disgusting.
I got a chicken basket and asked for the fries to be replaced with onion rings. I got a total of 5 onion rings. How does a normal basket of fries equate to 5 onion rings.
The Mall Dr location is the worst one in the city. The wait is always super long even for a couple of ice cream cones. Tonight I ordered two meals. The ice cream cone and blizzard came out in about 5min. The fries were ready and sitting on the warming table while they prepared the burgers. I was looking forward to eating hot fries with my burger. By the time the burgers were up and bagged, the fries were barely warm and getting hard. They had one person running the register inside the Lin's side and he was also helping prep the food in the kitchen along with five other employees who were slow to make food. It took one person about 10 minutes to make one hamburger and he had an Apple AirPod in one of his ears while making the food.
We got 3 blizzards and was not happy with the way they were given to us, we ordered small and they must have been out of small cups because we were given baby cups with a stack of ice cream sticking out of the cup inside a clear to go lid. How is someone supposed to eat that without ice cream spilling everywhere? We’ll we went home and poured the ice cream out into a bowl and ate it that way. Three stars because the ice cream was still good. Honestly why don’t you guys use large cups and just leave some empty space in the cup?
