Great service, meal, and views!!! I had Tee as my server and she was fantastic. Tried the in house made raspberry lemonade and Cajun chicken penne. Ingredients were so fresh and delicious. A delightful meal! The bread and dill butter was worth bringing up, so good!! A must eat at restaurant when in the st. George area.
We sat on the top tier of the outdoor patio, with a great view. Our server, Troy, was perfect, and we appreciated his comments about his pioneer relatives. I especially loved the squash soup and spinach salad.
My wife and I recently had dinner at the Cliffside. It was a Monday night, and the restaurant was doing a bustling business. We sat outside on the patio. The Cliffside actually has three patio areas, two that are on the side of the restaurant (between the restaurant and the Cliffside hotel), one just above the other, and another one lower down that is just behind the restaurant building itself. There was a special event of some sort that was going on at the lower patio area on the night we were there. All of the patios have spectacular views of St. George. The views are the biggest drawing card for the Cliffside. The food was quite good, but not spectacular, which was also true about the service. Our server, Daniel, was quite good, but not exceptional. He was pleasant but seemed harried and didn't really engage with us. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer, which was very good. We often order fried calamari when we go to nice restaurants, and I thought the calamari at the Cliffside was better than most. It comes with a tasty pepper sauce and a side of garlic aioli. My wife ordered the red trout, which she thought was very good. I got the seafood pasta special, which was linguine with a pesto cream sauce, and included several different kinds of fish including salmon, halibut and rock fish. It was very tasty, and I would probably order it again, although I would have preferred a slightly larger portion. Overall, we had a very nice dinner at the Cliffside, but it won't go on our list of restaurants that we need to go to again the next time we're in St. George.
Outstanding! This was a wonderful place to stay with amazing views! Beautiful sitting outside watching lunar eclipse!!
Sat outside on the patio for a good dinner. The red trout was just wonderful. The service was excellent
Excellent view and service. We felt the menu was a bit limited. My wife enjoyed the Cajun chicken pasta. The airline chicken and risotto were also good.
Nice menu with a good variety of choices. Impeccable service. Delicious food. Three of us had the chili salmon and one had an Angus burger. The view is spectacular. Takes reservations. Would definitely return.
This property is actually at a rim of a cliff offering an expansive view of St. George below. Dining is available in and out. Food is well prepared and presented.
The views from the restaurant are beautiful. We fortunately were able to snag a seat by the window. I asked about a cocktail list but there is only a beer and wine list which was a bit disappointing but the spritzer with blackberry was actually quite good. We had the brussel sprouts for an appetizer which was a generous portion, but they seemed overly salty. The bread and butter they bring to the table was good. I had the salmon and my husband had the chicken, but neither one had much flavor, they were just ok. For the price and location, especially when it’s for a special occasion, I want to really enjoy my food. It was also very loud in the restaurant, my husband and I couldn’t have much of a conversation but I definitely heard the entire conversation of the table next to me. Go for the views.
Located adjacent to the Inn on the Cliff hotel, this has to be the best restaurant in St. George. The food is always delicious and the service is professional and friendly. The view is well worth the price of admission.
