So Disappointed, we spent $160 on garbage food, I'm a huge lobster eater, I've eaten it of over 50 years from places around the world this was the worst food we have both eaten ever. I ordered the twin lobster, it was so small it looked like the bottom of the lobster was cut away, a cup of lobster bisque soup, the soup was lumpy and the taste was fishy so bad i left it behind and a salad, my husband ordered ocean cod and chicken wings for appetizer, we both ordered drunks from the bar. Let me start with the over all feel of the restaurant its dirty, even the clear glass the waitress showed me and what size I wanted I said the one on the right it's clean . it was very hot, we had planned on going out for the night have several drinks, we move close by so we could walk if need be. The place was hot we ask for mote napkins just to wip the sweat off fron our brow and the place was dead.
Nice place close to the hotel when visiting town. We unfortunately ordered our food to go an hour or so before they closed. Felt like it was the scraps left over based on what we thought were getting but still tasted great. Very nice staff during my experience.
First time eating at Chef Hog's, went with some friends, they recommended the Brisket, looked pretty good, and it's one of the best I've had, definitely the best in St George. It doesn't even need sauce! Our waitress, Daniela, was very attentive and quick, too. Bottom line, I'm coming back next chance I get.
All my friends and I ate here for dinner on Saturday night the 17th and were absolutely in love with Chef Hog’s. First and foremost the location is amazing. And has a spectacular view of the golf course. The staff was very helpful friendly and attentive. Best for last the FOOD!! I had the salmon and it was delicious! The portion size was plenty and it game with very nice sides!! My friends got the wings pasta and poke. There was only good things to say! I would recommend for anyone and any occasion.
Great Oysters, great service but the steaks were overdone.
We have been holding a 4 day golf event annually for several years always stopping in at the turn to grab a quick bite. A couple of years ago we decided that it would be good to include daily breakfast into our event. Chef Hog was so accommodating. And the food was amazing. So, this year we decided to include a dinner. The food was exceptional. And, the Chef and his staff always take amazing care of us. Thank you so much for making our event better every year.
Jeff and his staff were amazing! We held a big group banquet dinner for our Golf event. The Food and service was exceptional. Thank you Ashley for taking great care of us. We will be back soon.
Been coming to Chef Hog's for a couple years as apart of the Newby Cup event. The food, and service are always phenomenal! Love the Gyro, it is a must get!
I was at Chef Hog's Bar and Grill for a golf event, and he prepared three excellent choices and sides for our event. The presentation was great, the service was even better, and best of all, the food was amazing! Highly recommend using him to cater your event if you're in S Utah area.
I live in SunRiver and I would really like this restaurant to be good. Great views and the service is good. The food on the other hand is inconsistent at best. We personally tried the restaurant several times and have never had a meal there that was served hot. The last time we went there, we ordered Prime Rib and while the Prime Rib was lukewarm (which is not uncommon I know) but the potato was so cold it wouldn't even melt the butter. When the server came to check on our meal, we told her that the food was cold. She sent Chef Hog to the table who proceeded to blame us - really?
