Awful food and experience. We waited 45 minutes for our food and it was not at all a busy time. Our waitress would disappear so we kept having to ask another waiter to go find her. There must have been a door to the outside around the corner out of our view because every time we would hear the door close, we would get a big cloud of cigarette smoke at our table. Not sure if that’s where the staff takes their smoke breaks but it was nasty. Finally our food came out but the fries were cold. The waitress asked how we wanted our burgers cooked and we all said medium. Well the burger and buns were all burnt. Like why ask if your staff clearly doesn’t know the difference? About half way through eating my over-cooked burger, I pulled a blonde hair from the patty. Awesome. We were all beyond disgusted at this point. But the cherry on top was when they started mopping around our table with the nasty mop water bucket next to our table. Again I had to ask someone to please find our waitress so we could pay and get the heck out of there! Never again.
After waiting an hour or more for two burgers we were informed the waiter never placed the order. Manager was useless and unsympathetic. Run do not walk anywhere but here. Never again. Avoid this place at all costs
For being called burger theory my Reuben burger was small, definitely should've went with a double. Maybe the wait staff might want to pitch making it a double. Didn't know they had sweet potato fries til I heard another table order them, didn't see it as an option on the menu. My wife loves sweet potato fries and would've been nice to know. Buffalo wings were pretty good, and wife loved her portobello burger.
OK so we have never been here before so we thought we would give it a try... The good: The burger was cooked to order (medium rare) so that was good. The fries were good also. The bad: When the server brought the plates, she slammed them down so hard I thought they might crack. She doesn't smile. She doesn't seem happy at all. Just not pleasant. The ugly: We noticed the server was walking out the backside door after giving us our receipt and credit card after we paid. We signed the card receipt and began to walk to the front. We noticed a man standing by the host stand. Almost as if he wasn't sure if he should seat himself (though there is a sign to seat yourself). We looked over and told the guy the server is outside over there and pointed for him to look. To our surprise she was not only on her phone, but also vaping at the same time. Still 2 other tables inside eating that I am sure would have liked attention. It was only 12:05pm so right at lunch time! She has no idea how to provide good customer service. Overall, even though it was a good burger, it is not worth going at their prices to eat there when the server is more interested in hurrying up to go outside and talk on her phone and vape.
We waited for more that 50 minutes after we ordered and still did not receive our food. Tables who came in after us received there food and even completed their meal, paid, and left the restaurant.I tried to talk to the female server or the bar tender who’s tables seemed to have no problem getting their food, but I was ignored by them.If you must go to this restaurant because you have no other choice, and I do mean no other choice. I would choose to go and grab a frozen meal out of the lobby in the hotel.I would give less than 1 star but I cannot.
We have been there twice around 12:30 during the week both times, we were waited on by the same woman,she did not introduce herself so I do not have a name . Poor service the 1st time but the food was good so we tried it again today.We won't be back. She delivered our drinks and never offered once to refill, there was one other table in the place besides us and one man at the bar soon it was basically empty, I watched her clear the tables and did not even wipe the table at all just straightened up? . so no points for cleaning there. We had to search the other tables for Ketchup bottles that were full just like last time they were almost all empty. I was left feeling like she was being inconvenienced by us being there.. to bad for this place...but obviously they are having a really hard time finding good experienced help
The service was terrible. The bartender was more interested in watching the game and hiding in the back room than doing his job. It took about a half hour to receive a simple order of two sandwiches. The bartender never checked in at any point.The food and drink left much to be desired. I ordered two different beers and had to send both back because they were flat. I don't believe the bartender made any effort to remedy the issue and still forgot to remove the beer from my tab.We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, coleslaw burger, and fries. The grilled chicken was grotesquely overcooked and dry. The burger was a bit over cooked, and wasn't anything special, particularly for the $14 price tag. The bright spots were the fries and coleslaw, which were very good and prevented me from giving 1 star.
Wow what a burger! I ordered medium rare which it turned out little bit more rare than I like. But Holy delicious!! Still did 5 stars because that bad boy was stuffed with cheddar and was absolutely Devine! Had a side of wings as well and they are fantastic! Give this place a shot. I think you're gonna dig their theory!
If you like watered down drinks, warm salad, and overcooked subpar burgers.. then this is your place to dine! Restaurant nearly empty and we were sat in the back corner.. Waiter didn’t know what drinks they had available .. salads and dressing warm, burger over cooked and had minimal flavor..waiter wouldn’t pick up empty plates.. over priced.. would rather get a happy meal from McDonald’s!
I love Burger Theory. They make great hamburgers and really enjoy their fries. The sweet potatoes fries were a little overcooked tonight, but usually really good.
