The Best New York-style pizza and pasta in Utah: Mangia!
The food was amazing! So fresh tasting and delicious! The pizza crust was crunchy and chewy in all the right ways. The sauces tasted homemade and light. The owner stopped by to share their history and commitment to good ingredients which was nice. The service was... bizarre. After being greeted, we were given separate pizza menus and pasta menus and then sent back to the waiting area. Our server then arrived and asked for our orders, all before we'd even been sat at a table. ?? Apparently their business model is to keep pizza and pasta orders separate? Also, they only let you order 12-inch pizzas if you're dining in; larger ones are for takeout only.It was a little pricey, but the portions were a good enough size that we only had to order two entrees for our family of four. Next time I'd leave the kids at home and go there on date night.
We were passing through St.George, Utah, and came upon this restaurant, in the mood for pizza. Not disappointed. Crunchy thin crust 12” pizza with flavorful toppings and an assortment of other Italian entrees offered on their extensive menu. We had the good fortune of visiting with Marie, the owner, and had a delightful and efficient server. Friendly service. Yummy pizza. Go and enjoy a casual meal here!
We have eaten her a few times since they opened at this new location. We love the food here. The best Pizza in St George.
We’ve been coming here since 2018. This was our first time at the new location and it did not disappoint. The new building is BEAUTIFUL and super clean. The staff were so friendly and kind. We got our made to order pizza in under 15 minutes, which is unheard of for any restaurant. The food was divine as always! We get the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and it’s by far our favorite pizza to date! We highly recommend this place to all friends and family, and anyone in the St George area!
Their menu is filled with delicious pasta entrees and pizza with dozens of toppings. I chose the freshly dough tossed crust, with homemade sauce, freshly graded mozzarella, pepperoni and diced jalapeños pizza that was cooked in a brick oven. I have eaten a lot of pizza throughout my years of international travel, some were fair, some good and some great. Tonight’s pizza was great and easily one of the top 3 pizzas I’ve eaten.
Hands down the best pizza joint in St. George, UT! The service is top-notch. This place meets the hype. They do only have one size of pizza however good sauce to cheese ratio and super fresh! Best to dine in, as you get goosebumps experiencing the ambience as well as devouring slices of deliciousness ?
Great food ... large variety of pizza & Italian Cuisine. Restaurant is beautiful & spacious. Everything made fresh daily.
Absolutely love Bella Marie’s!!! Calamari is so good and the pizza is best in town, hands down. The owner always comes out and talks to us and is such a kind hearted person. Highly recommend
We used to love Bella Maria’s but we went for the first time in their new location. We were told when we walked in that we had to decide if we were ordering pasta or pizza! What if one of us want pasta and the other wants pizza? Not possible under their new “system”. We used to bring friends and grandkids with us and some would get pasta and others pizza. We never experienced a problem with waiting like they claim is the issue. Because they make everything fresh? So the customer must make the adjustment because they can’t figure out a system that willaccommodate people at the same table wanting different menu items?!! We travel the world and eat at all different restaurants and have never encountered a place that can’t figure out how to deliver pizza and pasta to the same table. It makes no difference if it takes a little longer to make the pasta or pizza because the product is what matters. We eat at a deep dish place in Chicago where I order salad and my husband wants deep dish. They say “you understand the pizza takes 30 minutes?” Yes we understand. No problem. They bring my salad and bread and we wait for the pizza. How hard is it to figure out a system that works for the customers? I’m afraid they are headed to the pile of abandoned businesses! Really sad we love their food. I hope they find a way to fix this or we won’t be going back with our friends and families. The servers were darling and sweet but it falls to them to have to explain this odd approach to dinning! So sad!
