We ate here recently and had a pretty average experience. Nothing memorable, good or bad. Despite us being only the 2nd (of two) occupied tables during lunch it seemed that the food was slow to come out, and we kept finding ourselves sitting and waiting for refills, boxes, the check, etc. The level of service made me feel like they only had one person working the entire facility because there wasn't really another explanation for how slow things were with only two small groups of people. With all the other great options out there, there's no reason for us to come back here again.
We had two terrible experiences. Ordered online, they did not see the order until we arrived, it took an hour to make 20 wings and chips, which they charged us 83.57 for. The wings were badly undercooked and the chips were still frozen inside. We called and the manager tried to deny we were ever there, then said the owner was dying, they had new kitchen staff…and then said they do not offer refunds, they only give free food which we declined. So the manager hung up on me. WingStop is a far better alternative.
The last 2 times we have come here, within a three month period, the first being they didn’t have a cook, which in these days is understandable because no one wants to work, but!, today we went there at 11:30 a.m. the open sign was lit up, tv’s on inside and music playing outside, the doors were locked. I stood there and called their number 5 times! And no answer. It really is a sad situation because my husband and I have been going there 10+ years and loved the atmosphere. But today, they have lost a long time customer. We will now be going to the one in Taylorsville. Even though it’s smaller, they treated us and went a above and beyond with their generosity. Sorry Wing Nutz at the district, you have just lost loyal customers.
Just showed up to this location at 3:41 on a Wednesday the sign says they're open the hours on the door say they are open, but the door was locked two employees were in the kitchen prepping I knocked multiple times for 10 minutes they looked at me several times but didn't acknowledge me didn't come to the door. I don't know how people can treat their customers that way that want to eat at their restaurant and blatantly ignore them. Not to mention it's freezing cold outside and we just came from the funeral to eat with a party of 15 people and now we have to find another restaurant because we were so completely disregarded. Will not be eating here again ever!
Got an order to go, they said it just came out of the kitchen when I got there to pick it up. I live about a mile away, by the time I got home something didn’t smell right. The two order of buffalo chips I got were brown, soggy, and stunk so bad. Made me question the wings so I just threw everything away. The wing nutz in sandy is way better
Unfortunately this is one of the worse experiences I've had at any Wing Nutz. Very understaffed, skimpy one the food and wing sauce, and although I think our server was probably a nice person, he never returned after taking our order. The food sat for a bit before someone else brought it to us, no drink refills, and we had to find someone to cash out with. Probably won't return to this location.
Went in Friday night saw the cook come out of the restroom with his hands behind him. At first I thought he was drying them off but then he moved his hands to the front to reveal one black glove and one clear one. He walked back to the kitchen area and started right back to work. The table behind use said you saw that too. We paid for our drinks and left. Never again, Utah Health Department you should check this place out.
Service was nice and restaurant was clean. Wing variety was good but the sauces were average. Would maybe try again at a later date.
Wow! I am completely disgusted with this place! My pork for my sandwich came out cold, like right out of the fridge. I asked them to warm it. I could see the people in the kitchen & the guy who I think was the manager sat back there just scratching his head in the food area. Then the guy who was warming up my pork turned to take a puff out of his vape. Also I never got my fries I ordered. I wouldn't have even given one star if I didn't have to. So sad this place has gone so down hill, we used to live to come here but we won't be back!!!
This place is pretty run down. Reminds me of a place that needs to go on Bar Rescue. Great staff - Mike is awesome - but the food / drinks are awful. Just make it a bar & I bet more people will come here. They claim they can’t get a bar license because it’s a “family restaurant” but I’ve gone in here 3 times and I am like the only person in there. No customers at all. This place needs major work.
