I hate writing negative reviews but after getting no response from the owner or the general manager, I feel I must. We were in town for a soccer tournament and a few of the families attempted to dine at Tsunami. We asked the hostesses if they could seat our large group and they said said they could. After we took our seats outside in the patio, the manager, Kim appeared and started to loudly berate us. It was the most bizarre experience. She obviously disagreed with the hostesses decision to seat a large group and then decided to blame us rather than the hostesses. After waiting 30 minutes to be served water, we waited an additional 40 minutes for our drinks order. In summary we got our drinks after 1hr10min and at this point they still hadn’t taken our food order, which we were then told would take an additional 45 minutes. Did I mention our group consisted of mostly young kids? Everyone at adjacent tables got their food within 10/15 minutes of being seated. It became obvious that Kim had told the wait staff not to serve us. I knew she wasn’t the most stable from our initial interactions but I thought in no way she would be capable of leaving children without food for over 2 hours in 90+ degree heat. It was the most bizarre, upsetting experience, made all the worse by no response from the manager or owner. Avoid at all costs.

The sushi was good. The only thing Is a bit on the pricey side but they do have lots of flavor.I got the cocobanna and executive rolls . One of them had jalapeño but the amount was so much that after one bite my tongue almost burned to nothing. … it was intense . I had to dig it out . I also found a hair in my food which is never good ….These things can be fixed though … I did see a good atmosphere when I stepped inside to pick up my food… this is possibly a better dine in restaurant.

First time being here and definitely not the last.A bit on the pricier side - if I was a middle class family I probably wouldn’t come here. However the taste is def worth the price I ordered a Philly roll and an executive roll. The taste of both rolls we’re exquisite I ordered takeout however they did not give me utensils - I work around here so I’m lucky my coworker had a set of utensils for me to munch on my lunch. For two rolls I paid about $32 dollars hence why I’m saying it’s def on the pricey side but it’s sooo tastey! Def will be goin first time of many!

Amazing sushi and great ambiance. It is a large restaurant, but it fills up fast on weekends, so get a reservation! Their specialty rolls are awesome. I highly recommend the Jenny (in the photo) or the executive suite (the bright orange one in the background of the photo). Good service, too!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, but my rating is mostly focused on the service and flavor quality of the food. The flavor just wasn't quite there. It is average sushi, in my opinion. I think they could do better with the quality and flavors and kick it up a little more. Friendly staff, but our waiter was quite forgetful on several requests that we made.

Great ambience. Food is okay. Our server Sam was very patient and considerate which rectified the poor and rude front desk customer service. Maybe, The servers can teach the front desk some manners and interpersonal skills. The wait was 1 hr + and didn’t really seem to follow the waitlist

Overall decent sushi but the selection is mainly fried.Food-this menus leans heavy toward fried rolls and other Japanese dishes. I thought the rolls were okay, but nothing spectacular. Overall 3.5 stars.Overall price- price was what you would expect at a sushi place. Most rolls were 10-13 dollar range. They had a bento box which was actually a bit steep compared to other places, but the other menu items like the chicken katsu where similarly priced.Staff-staff was attentive and nice.Other notes-interesting straw! It’s biodegradable which is pretty cool. It didn’t get soggy throughout our meal and it didn’t add any weird flavors. You also pay via an automatic check which has a lot of screens to go through.

We had to make reservations and so we were met at the door and temperature were checked and reservations confirmed. Our table was very nice even through it was across from the kitchen. The menu was tricky to view as you have to scan it and read it from your phone. But it was worth the inconvenience we order three sushi rolls chicken curry which was nice and a kids teriyaki chicken plate with tempura vegetables & rice. Our grandson can be very picky about his meal he ate it all. Cost is a bit pricey but it was worth it. Best Shushi

My ten year old son walked over to Tsunami from Mythos Games where we were spending a few hours. A friend had asked him if he would be willing to go place a sushi order for him and bring it back. Our son agreed, and long story short, he had a few bumps in placing the order, but the employees were helpful and friendly throughout the process. My son said it was very impressive inside the restaurant and he hadn't expected it to be so fancy. The sushi rolls our friend ordered and shared were beautifully prepared and arranged and they were absolutely delicious. We will happily return here for sushi rolls!
