Texas Roadhouse used to be one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. I would always get the pork chop meal because they were thick and juicy. They have definitely gone downhill! The service was terrible, and the food was dry and salty. Our server forgot to put in our food after we gave him our order, and about 45 minutes later I asked about our salads and he had a worried look on his face ran over to the computer and keyed in our food and told us he was sorry and admitted that it was a pocket ticket. I totally understand that happening, because I have done it when I was serving. It was graduation night and they were busy. The part that upset me most is that he didn't do anything about it. I don't expect free, but after waiting an hour and a half for food you would think he would've done something to take care of us. When he asked how the food was, I said it was terrible he kinda just laughed and walked away like I was joking. Definitely won't be going back any time soon!!! The portions are half of what they used to be, the service wasn't great, and the quality isn't there anymore either.
SO MUCH FOOD. I always love Texas Roadhouse and this one didn't dissapoint. Bread was awesome and they just kept bringing it. All the food tastes great, decently quick service for how busy it was.This place is always insanely busy, I've never seen a weekend where they aren't crazy busy. Just know you might be waiting for a while, and you can't make reservations.
One of the better chains around. This place is always so busy! But I really like their online reservation system. I can wait for my table from the comfort of my house and then drive there when the estimated time is near. I love their prime rib and usually order it. My husband gets the chicken fried steak. Its a great place to take kids. My only complaint is that the mac and cheese from the kids menu is Kraft not sure why anyone would want to order it or pay 10x the cost just to have someone else make it
Was skeptical at first, but I highly enjoyed this place!!!!! Environment is so hyped up, loved all this The hostesses are very helpful. Our server Alycia was so cute! I appreciated how she was honest and fixed a couple mistakes she made. She was so funny and awesome and was so on top of it! Made our night. Oh, also, the food was BOMB and super filling. Yum!
Picked up a to-go order and the food tasted great, was ready on time, but absolutely disappointed that they charge you for an 8oz New York steak and are given a 6 oz instead. Even asked them at the window if they were positive the steak was an 8oz since it was barely bigger than my child's kids meal steak. Their response was, "that's the size of our 8oz steak." Well, you need to recalibrate your scales because your 8oz steaks are only weighing less than 6oz. And no, you don't lose 2oz of meat in the cooking process. Buyer beware, might taste great, but you won't be getting what they charge you for.
I go here at least once a month and usually they cook the steak just the way I order it but the last time I ordered it medium but it came well done. The waitress was very good and had a new one made. I am not sure how they did it but the steak was cooked well done on the edge, medium 2 inches from the Side and raw in the middle. It was disappointing.
Great food + excellent service!
On one of the busiest nights of the year, we attended after a two hour wait. The meat was slightly over cooked, but I can forgive that after seeing the volume of customers coming in and out that night. In fact, they still get five stars for being able to manage this small piece of happiness amidst the chaos. The bread was divine and the server was perfectly attentive and helpful. They didn’t try to upsell or make excuses for the way the meat was cooked. They didn’t offer a discount for the error, but again, with all the chaos, these tiny mistakes are forgivable. I’d dine here again in a heartbeat, preferably on a slower night. Thank you for great service on a crazy night!
Huge shout out to Erin and Heather for absolutely killing it at the bar on valentines night! They made it such an enjoyable experience. If you're going here and the wait is super long, don't forget most people can sit at the bar instead to have a meal. It's super chill and people are friendly if they talk with you. Definitely would go here again.
