Alright, it's just a regular Chinese place in a strip mall so how good can it be? Turns out that a number of their items are actually amazing! We go here regularly and have tried a number of items. They have my favorite egg foo yung, they have really good kung pao tofu, and I also really enjoy their Mongolian beef and ponpon chicken. They have good portions too! Personally I would avoid the almond chicken as it lacked flavor, and it's really only a place I would to takeout at because it is a tiny place in a random strip mall. That being said, I love it and would be absolutely disappointed if they closed.
Update: I wouldn't recommend ordering from this establishment period. I experienced symptoms of food poisoning only hours after eating here.I wouldn't recommend ordering online or doing any kind of delivery like doordash or anything like that if you are going to order from this place. The food is at least three or four dollars more than what was listed on their menu and the portions you receive after spending quite a bit of money is not worth it. For 2 entrées 40 dollars and I received maybe a cup of walnut shrimp or a little less and the sweet and sour shrimp is this tiny piece of shrimp and the rest is fried batter and that also isn't a big entrée. I wasn't very impressed to have spent that much money for those small portions. So if you do order from here make sure to pick-up on your own since the prices are better. The food is good but I am not very pleased to have such higher prices ordering online and the portions to be that small for how much you pay. They accept cards online and in store and cash in store.

We tried this place for the first time tonight and both my wife and I really liked it! Highly recommend the food. My favorite was the orange chicken and my wife liked the broccoli beef. We'll be back soon! ?
Under seasoned chicken fried rice. Had no flavor at all.
I've been coming here for almost 10 years, the food is always hot and fresh, made to order and the people working are always friendly! I am especially impressed with the young family working there, especially the young boy helping at the counter. He is fast and courteous and has always got my order correct and to me faster than expected! Most adults can't do that! Also, the young lady (I assume his older sister) you can tell she takes pride in her work and truly cares!Great place!
Very, very disappointed tonight. I've been ordering for several years, but tonight may have been the last time. Chicken lo mein had 2 dime size pieces of chicken and the veggie delight was nothing more than 3 inch broccoli stems. This place has really gone down hill.
I admit I’m a foodie! This location so GOOD! Literally everything is made to order FRESH! They have the best hot & sour soup in the Salt Lake area. Another favorite is their House Special LoMein, and of course, Cream Cheese Wontons!
Great food and service, go there often!
Rice King Express has been a favorite for years. Hands down the best beef and broccoli and wayy better quality than the overpriced Lucky Chen food. It's not the only thing I get from them, but it's worth addressing. The place is small but still a great place to dine in. It's right next to the dollar tree if you're feeling like a baller on a budget. The food is never cold and I highly recommend ordering via phone and picking up in person. You'll be in and out faster and it'll be piping hot.
