Not the worst BBQ I've had but I can definitely get better smoke flavor on a pellet smoker which is a huge disappointment. The pulled pork was the worst thing I got and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, tasted like it was made in a slow cooker or and oven. The smoke wing wasn't very deep and the seasoning on the bark was mild. The bark on the brisket was very nice but the serving temperature was all wrong and made it come off as chewy and dry. For an extra charge I was super disappointed in the quality and portion. The chicken thighs were very good and I would recommend that people visit just for it.The fries were very good as well. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Also, the BBQ sauces impressed me, good quality and flavorful.
Went on a Saturday night. It was very busy but that’s to be expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food took a really long time to get but it was fine as I got to spend some quality time with my wife.I love their food. Ordered the chicken this time and it was better than I remember it being. The fries were great, too!
Ribs are described on menu as 'fall off the bone' but they were truly 'tough as nails'. Paid for banana pudding... they were out of it so ended up with cobbler which was pretty good. The two stars is for the great service. All of the staff were amazing!!May try again...won't order ribs again, but will definitely visit again and try a different entree option.
Potato's and sausage were good. But the ribs were pathetic. There was no meat on them. Got a $20 3 meat plate and I got a handful of good sausage and a scoop of potatoes. The double portion of ribs were of 0 zalue. 1 of the ribs you can make yourself from Costco had more meat then all 6. I never review, so a place has to be real bad for me to take the time. Truly pathetic
Very disappointed with my first visit to R&R. Husband and I each ordered a 2 meat plate with chopped brisket and pulled pork. I got Mac & cheese and he got mashed potatoes for sides.Upon receiving our food, it was lukewarm at best. Very little seasoning or flavor (I needed to add salt). The brisket was 80% fat. I know brisket tends to be fattier than other meats, but this was obnoxious. To make it worse, they charge extra for brisket! The Mac & cheese was just macaroni, there was no cheese in sight. Rolls were store bought and nothing great. Meal was just under $50.Overall, there are many other bbq places in Utah that are much better and less expensive.Overpriced and underwhelming.
DO NOT EAT HERE!I have visited this R&R location probably 30 times over the last 2 years, the quality was always good until now. They not only charge $2.50 on top of your order if you want Brisket, half of what you paid extra for comes out as fat and inedible grissle. It's a real shame that the ownership/management cant seem to find anyone to work that is decent, really ruined a fromerly great restaurant.
I love R&R BBQs food. I recently tried their order ahead option. I set the pickup for 15 minutes from when I ordered. It was only a seven minute drive. I arrived 6 minutes before my pickup time. My food was already ready ... and it was lukewarm. Do yourself a favor and wait in the line for the piping hot food. The line wait is totally worth it.
Waited in line 30 mins to order. Out of ribs, brisket , but didn’t say anything till we waited entire time. Only thing left was pork and turkey. Another 20 mins for food. Everyone in group was served cold, barely warm dinner.
Great place to take the family. love the food and atmosphere.
Awesome BBQ with friendly staff. Their catered smoked Turkey for Thanksgiving is incredible. Frequently eat lunch there as well and Kim always goes out of her way to make our group feel welcome!
