4 people $350.00 lobster and crab little tiny lobster tough, small crab leg over cooked and dry. 18 oz. prime rib so tough could hardly chew it enough to gag it down, i wont even go on will never go back.
An upscale experience, beautiful atmosphere that is unique and clean. Attentive staff, way above average food quality. We had oysters, chowder, halibut oscar and steak. All very good, dine here with confidence. Good for business or special night out.
Several years ago we ate at the original location in downtown SLC. Hoping for a great meal before returning to Boise, I googled the address and was surprised to find another store in nearby South Jordan. The hostess was friendly and efficient and it didn't take too long for a table. But the food was not worth the wait. The Calamari were flavorless with a homemade sauce that should have been paired with shrimp. It was too tart and had too much horseradish to pair with the calamari. Even though early in the lunch hour they were all out of any dishes using the seafood salad mix. My second choice, avocado and crab sandwich was very bad. CANNNED- not fresh!, off flavored crab meat, low quality white sourdough, grilled with too much grease had me leaving my 3/4 of the sandwich on the plate. My husbands taco's looked better. Service was attentive although obviously understaffed because of world-wide COVID shortages. I'm so sad this was a miss. I fear that the expansion of the chain sank the quality of the food. Way too expensive for what we received.
We celebrated my boyfriends 40th birthday at Market Street this past Saturday night. He had fresh oysters and oysters Rockefeller for the first time, the service was great, the prime rib and filet was fantastic, the soup, salad, shrimp, all of it was wonderful. I was nervous taking him because of some of the bad reviews but don't let that deter you! This place knows what they're doing. ? We will definitely visit again!
We went to lunch and waited forever. It was well over an hour. Food took so long when we got out sandwiches they were very soggy and barely edible. It also took forever for water refills. We won’t be back anytime soon
Good wholesome food. No fuss just great flavor and great wait staff. I feel like a good staff is so difficult to come by. It says a lot of about a place when their waiters are friendly, attentive, busy, knowledgeable and encouraging about new things on the menu. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Well seasoned. Moist and cooked to perfection. Everything from the fresh vegetables garnishing the dinner salad to the side of broccoli, boiled potatoes and salmon. So good.
Consistently good steak and seafood for when you are in the mood to spend a bit more on a night out.Highlights include the best clam chowder anywhere and large onion rings with a very good texture. The staff are helpful and there's a case of fresh meats and treats to purchase for take home.
Delicious food. The Spinach and Crab artichoke dip was superb! Everyone really enjoyed the food, with the exception of those that ordered the Halibut. They said was really dry.The service was great as well as the atmosphere.
I love MSG - they have lunch specials everyday which works great for professionals like myself that work in this area.Nonetheless every time I come - they never give me lemons even though I ask for them (guy always says they’re in there) well they are not. They don’t give you utensils- it’s like how am I supposed to eat fish and chips, salad and soup…Sigh - if you get takeout make sure they give you utensils AND check - this is my 3rd time and I have yet to get lemons or utensils ?I also wish they would give you a side of their bread with your food I mean they would if I dined in… I always give my takeout person a $10 dollar tip because I’m thankful they work there and serve food.
Chowder is still good and available to go.
