I've never been before but oh my gosh, I'll never go to Te as Roadhouse again!Steak and lobster were beyond incredible and cooked PERFECTLY. The loaded sweet potato was delicious and also perfectly cooked. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks coming and table cleared. Service was fast and wait time was less than 20 minutes and so worth it.I usually take photos for my reviews but this meal was so amazing, I didn't think about it at all - sorry but trust me.
I am not sure what the bad reviews are all about?!We had a delicious meal, the ambiance was great, the staff fantastic! We had a medium ribeye and a 6oz tenderloin with their specialty bacon Mac n Cheese and sweet potato with cinnamon sugar. The wheat bun was so fresh and hot and delicious, yum!The salads were huge and pretty good, I would say hold the greens a bit.Overall a 5 star experience for a Thursday night.
Had the BEST experience today at South Jordan Longhorn! It was my birthday and it was really busy but our waitress was the best! One of our steaks was very well done when we asked for medium and the steaks got switched with who had it. One of us had a sirloin and the other a filet. But she had no problem getting a new one for us. And ended up bringing both new steaks. With no extra charge. And for my birthday you get a free sundae but I asked for the cake and pay the difference, but she didn’t even charge us for it. Elizabeth W was our waitress and she was amazing! I can’t even express how great she was.
We went to the Fort Union Location, the food was good but the service was the biggest disappointment..First of all, The waiter was just plain unprofessional . We asked for another bread while we waited for the food and he seemed put out by this, Why?? but he told us" they were in the oven"...10 minutes go by still no bread but we see him bringing bread out to others..he comes by and my husband goes can we get a bread??..he goes and brings it right back. but we let it go..I ordered a steak and the waiter came to the table did not say one word and sat my steak on the end of the table and left!!! I said do I grab the plate myself?? Do I go get my own steaksause too?? My husband who is pretty upset goes and tells the hostess we want a manager?? The steak is still where the waiter left it..The manager comes over and we tell him this is where your waiter left my steak..The manager asked is this not right?? Really?? My husband says "Most servers put it in front of you." He goes well let me go see what's going on..he comes back with the steak and says well he brought it out thinking you were splitting it so they leave it on the end of the table!! WTF?? What kind of BS is that??. Even if that was the case wouldn't you ask?? He came out without a word. We will never go back there again. We were so disappointed.. Get Outlook for Android
Pretty good experience! The bread was warm, the steak had an excellent flavor. The potato was soft and tasty. Longtime wait though, we waited 30 min to be seated and another 20 min until our waiter greeted us at 8pm on a Thursday.
This was my first visit to a LongHorn steakhouse. I had not heard very good things about this restaurant, but my dining partner really wanted to go here, so we gave it a try. We were greeted promptly and offer drinks and appetizers. The entrees that we ordered came with a side salad option, which we both ordered. The delivery of the salads to our table was somewhat delayed, so our entree plates came just maybe a minute or two after the salads were served. It would have been nice if there had been a little time in between. Our food was prepared to perfection, and the portions served were just as advertised. Our server was very attentive and saw to her every need. Maybe the best service that I've had in a restaurant in a long time. This is not a cheap steakhouse like sizzler etc there's hardly anything to find on this menu that isn't over $20. But the overall quality of the cuisine I think lived up to its cost on the menu. Our overall dining experience was excellent, a little bit to my surprise. But I would definitely go there again, after I saved up a little bit.
The wait was expected about 45mins. Restaurant is nice and clean. Our waiter was outstanding. She did an amazing job and was always attentive to is. Our food came super quick after ordering. Our appetizers were great up until our main course , the steaks they were way to salty or heavily seasoned. Just too salty. But other then that everything else was great.
Probably 4.5 stars. We had a great experience as a party of four. The food was hot and tasty. It was clean and not so loud you couldn't think. We had our name put on a waiting list and it was about a 70 minute wait for a Saturday evening. The place is darker than it should be. Our table had sufficient light though. We were warned the food times were longer than usual so we didn't worry. I think it was about normal for a Saturday evening.Started with the white cheddar stuffed mushrooms. They were delicious! The wife got the New York strip with a side of shrimp and I got the Ribeye. Both were very good and cooked perfectly. I got a side of the Mac & cheese. A bit dry and underdone but still flavorful. Our friends got Ribeyes too. They loved theirs. The 4.5 stars is because our drinks ran dry and we had to flag down our server for more.I've been here before and would come back. Prices are a bit high but I suppose it's expected because inflation.
Lighting and ambiance is perfect for dinner. I had the New York steak, cooked to perfection, seasoning was perfect and I didn’t need steak sauce or salt and pepper. Baked potato wasn’t quite done. Chowder was okay, my strawberry cake and coffee was delightful for dessert. The service and waiter was top notch! 5 stars to the waiter Mike! 3.5 stars for the food.
Service was ok—they did a great job seating our large group, they organized the ordering ok, they got drinks served quickly, one issue after that was they already started refilling drinks before our orders were taken. Once orders were placed, food came out faster than anticipated.Good quality: they are a steakhouse with several good options, so many of us ordered steak. I’m always skeptical of a lower end steak place, so low expectations, I always order medium at such places because you can’t trust the cooks to get it correct, it will always be one level lower or higher than what you order (if you order medium, you could get anything between medium rare to medium well). As I said that is expected at such a place. See photo for the two orders we made both with medium.
