We ordered ahead online for curbside pickup. The timer said it would be ready in about half an hour, so we went and we showed up about 5 min early, called the number and told them we were here. They said they would send someone out with our food. We waited outside for about 15 min, called again they said Oh sorry, I'm sending someone out now. Finally got our food and it was cold. And they forgot the bacon on our 2 bacon burgers. The food wasn't very good, was not impressed at all.
JCW's is a makes a solid burger and experience. I have some critiques but they wouldn't stop me from coming back on occasion. I'm not a particular fan of their fries as they somehow come out feeling both dry and soggy at the same time. The burger, while delicious, has a high moisture content. There is stuff dripping and falling out all over the place. Some people might like that but it's very messy and not recommended for any setting where you want to look clean and composed. My wife also pointed out the menu has Burgers with weird names and no description. How am I supposed to know if I'm even interested in a burger called "Big C"? Even if it was Big Cheese I would know what it's about. But those thoughts aside I'll come and get one of these sloppy burgers any time I need a break from my usual burger choices. And the chocolate shake was surprisingly delicious.
The burgers and shakes were good but we won't go back because it was 75$ for 4 people. 3 combos and 1 burger and mini shake.
This place you’re better off ordering online vs waiting at the drive thru. This was my first time coming here and I really enjoyed it.We ordered a:CheeseburgerSteak sandwichOnion ringsChili cheese friesEverything was great and I will be going back however next time I would order online as I had to wait 30 minutes in the drive thru. Their fry sauce is sooooo yummy!
The price of a small shake is now a whopping $8.65. We thought it must be a mistake but they said they raised their prices again recently. We've frequented JCW's often, but this is just getting ridiculous. I called back to verify, and they said it's at all the JCW's. We won't be back to support these practices when we can go to better ice cream shops and pay much less for a better product. Whoever made this decision needs to take another look.
I like the food here, but I am at the point of never going back again. No matter the time of day they have the slowest service. It is just not worth the time sitting and waiting. The high cost of the food is just a slap in the face on top of that. Here is a rundown of my last 4 visits:1)Dine-in; 45 minute wait at lunch.2)Drive-thru; 50 minute wait at dinner.3) Door dash; order canceled by restaurant after 1.5 hours.4) Drive-thru; only one car in front of me and no one at the window. After 25 minutes of just sitting I drove around and left. At least they have a double lane drive-thru.
JCW's has provided my family with an above-average level of quality for food and service. It has become a choice born of compromise when I want a burger, my wife wants a salad and my kid wants fried chicken nuggets/tenders. Once someone mentions getting a shake, that seals it. You'll likely spend between $10 and $20 per person, but that is not out of line for similar burger restaurants right now. Because your food is cooked fresh, you'll have a longer wait than other fast food restaurants... but I believe the difference in quality is worth it.
I see a lot of 5 star reviews on here claiming the burgers are great but I'm starting to seriously doubt the credibility of utonian reviews, have yall lost your taste buds ?The burgers here are some of the most generic I've ever had , the burger patty itself literally taste like burger King just not as bad which is why I didn't give it a one star .I ordered a mushroom and Swiss and was expecting to actually be able to taste the mushroom juice melted on the patty to provide it a real mushroom and Swiss flavor however I was met with a tasteless generic version , whataburger is supremely better . I'm surprised some of yall are willing to pay more than 10 bucks for a burger and fries .Unfortunately I do not recommend this place . I paid 9 bucks for a burger , for an extra 3 bucks I could have gone to the Indian restaurant across the street and grabbed a full meal that would have come with rice , gravy , and an Indian entre . Expect better of your food don't accept mediocrity in a time and age where you should expect more for your money .
Ordered a mini butterfinger shake $5.99 and a small butterfinger shake $6.99.. for the small shake they doubled the cups and placed it inside of a larger white cup so it appeared as if it was larger than the mini shake. Completely dishonest. Go somewhere else that actually gives you what you pay for.
If you're looking for crazy crispy and tasty onion rings and an excellent burger, this is the place! The only downside with JCW's is there aren't more of them through the valley. It would be great to have a dairy free shake option too. But the burgers, fries and onion rings are ?
