I love Duck Donuts! Over the last 9 months they have taken over as my 'go to' place to get a fresh, delicious donut. My son loves watching the 'Donut Robot' and monitoring the final assembly of our order. With everything out in the open it is easy for customers to see how things get done. The staff are friendly, helpful and promote a welcoming atmosphere. When there are issues with the rewards points system they go out of their way to correct the issue as well. I've been meaning to write a review for awhile now, and it was another fantastic experience with the staff which got me to sit down and write one out.Duck Donuts has a quality product and I hope to see more locations show up around the valley!

Duck Donuts is a cool concept with a poor product and execution. This made-to-order mini donut shop sounds like fun, so I decided to check it out -- especially since I love Krispy Kreme and their "Hot Now" donuts. I was hoping Duck Donuts would be equally delicious since they were fried up fresh and customized. Their product doesn't even come close to the light, airy, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness of their competitor. I arrived around 10 am, and there was nobody in the store. The menu is confusing, because there are a lot of options. You start with the base, a freshly-made vanilla cake donut. Then you add coatings, toppings, and / or frosting. Let me tell you, the more you add, the sweeter and less tasty the donuts were. I opted for a 6 pack, and I topped them with a variety of different flavors and options (coconut, chocolate, peanut butter, Oreo pieces, powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, and more). I watched with excitement as the fry guy behind the counter cooked up my donuts! He topped them with care, and handed me the box. I was so excited until....I lifted the lid. My donuts looked very unappetizing. Since they were topped while they were still hot, all of the frosting and toppings ran together in a melted, gooey mess. It was gross and they looked gross. You can't judge a book by its cover, so I dug in. Wow. What a disappointment. None of my donuts were very good. The first BITE wasn't even good. The donuts were the best when they were warm and fresh. I had a bunch leftover so I kept them around to have for dessert later in the day. They were inedible when they were cold. Honestly: INEDIBLE. Eat these hot or don't bother. I also ordered a cappuccino, and donut shops should have excellent coffee to go with their wares. The cappuccino was undrinkable. I hate to write in such absolutes, but I could not drink it. Two sips and I was done. It tasted like tree bark and was very poorly made. Do not order coffee here. I really wanted to like Duck Donuts, but this place is a major bust. Yuck.

When I googled top Donuts places in Utah, Duck Donuts popped up. I had a small window to stop in a few weeks back as I ordered a 1/2 dozen donuts.I asked the friendly employee to give me her 6 fav donuts. She told me it would be 5 minutes or so as they are made to order. What was actually made to order were the toppings of the donuts like their S’mores or Bacon in the sun. The core donut itself was already pre made. You won’t find any long John’s here. They also offer breakfast sandwiches as well besides coffee drinks.Nice spot, clean, plenty of parking and perfect for kids whose expectations of donuts are not that high.

I love this donut shop. They have really unique donuts. I love how you can create your own donuts. You can pick your coating, topping and drizzle for each donut.

I am a donut lover and a lot of donut places have been disappointing. But these have won my husband and I over! It had the right crisp to the donut but was still soft to the bite and was made hot and ready! The toppings were a perfect ratio to the donut, not overly done! Each bite was heavenly! Thank you Duck Donuts! You definitely understood the assignment! 10/10!

Awesome donuts. They make then fresh once you place your order!

My daughter found this place on accident. The donuts came out fresh made to order. So delicious! A must try! I was surprised to see the poster outside that said " weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs" I pointed it out and said to my daughter "must not be a local place" I've never in all my years living here have seen any store represent or advertise for the Jewish people living in Utah. Thank you for the wonderful donuts

Wonderful little donut shop with specialty donuts or create your own. Served warm which was new for me, but I liked it. The donuts leftover the next day were still delicious, tasted like a typical cake donut instead of the crumbly texture when it was served fresh and warm.Tried the breakfast sandwich, I liked it but with the bonut being warm and crumbly it made it a little difficult to eat. But the taste was great. Will definitely be going back!

Duck Donuts are SO delicious! They're warm and fresh, crispy on the outside and sift in the middle, and so many fun ways to customize your donut. However, when we were there this morning the service was incredibly slow (even though it was just us and one other customer) and the floor looked like it had been mopped with mud water.I might suggest that you just order in advance.

The people who work there are rude. The manager (young girl with dark hair and blonde highlights) on a Sunday told me to leave when I asked her what her name was because of how rude she was. Will not go back after the way I was treated. Also… you can only buy 6 donuts 30 minutes before they close but that is not posted anywhere.
