I had a great experience here. The food they offer tastes fresh and the prices seem reasonable for what they sell. Plus, the service was excellent. Overall, this location is worth trying.
Great experience at this SlapFish. Employees were friendly and helpful. We ordered the shrimp roll and the lobster roll. Both were fresh and delicious. The fish taco and ultimate fish taco were also great.The food was prepared and brought out in a timely fashion. Inside and outside seating for convenience. Store was clean and organized.
I had heard good things about Slapfish and was looking forward to a little seafood. When we arrived they were busy. There was no line at the register to order. But my wife and I stood at the register for maybe ten minutes before they took our order, despite the fact there were two employees five feet away bagging other orders and delivering some to tables. We were completely ignored. I told my wife we should leave but she talked me into staying a few more minutes. I felt like they could have had a better balance at helping people. One of them could have interrupted what they were doing for one minute. It was poor service to leave us just standing there for so long with no communication at all. Even taking ten seconds to explain there would be a wait until other tasks were done would have been appreciated.As for the food, my wife was very pleased with her fish taco. My fish sandwich was nothing special. A bit dry and only a slight degree better than a fish sandwich from a fast food restaurant. But I will admit that my opinion of the food may have been impacted by the bad taste of the service. My wife asked me if I would ever go there again. I said not likely. But my wife said she would go there again. Split decision. I hope my wife continues to have good experiences there and tells me all about it.
First time trying Slapfish and it was delicious! We both got the fish and chips combo even though there were a lot of yummy options to choose from. We wanted to stick to the classic. The fish and chips comes with an option two or one fish. We opted for one and it was plenty to fill you up. The fries to fish ratio was a little off and there were plenty of leftover fries. The seasoning they use is pretty good. Staff was nice!
After my long shift from 5 AM to 2 PM on Saturday I got off and I was starving and I stopped at Slap fish in Sandy and I was so very disappointed I was so hungry so I ordered Epic shrimp burrito with Chowder Soup bowl and a Lettuce wrapped shrimp grilled The chowder bowl soup it was extremely salty I mean not little salty real salty and it was very running like watery and bad my epic shrimp burrito was soggy and it was Literally soaked with the sauce on the top that they put I was like what is going on And when I saw my Lettuce wrapped shrimp grill my jaw dropped to the ground it was basically Iceberg Lettuce cut in half thrown on the plate with some shredded red and white cabbage hardly cooked or grilled shrimps Thrown on the top with some kind of white drizzle sauce Which I have to ask for more because there were maybe few drops of sauce on it But it was not at all appetizing I just ate a little and I was so disappointed After spending $32.37 with 15% tip Because it's not full service they just bring the food to your table Overall what a bad experience I had after I left the place I was still hungry and stopped to get a Burger So please Improve the quality of your food thank you.A very disappointed customer.
They explained the menu etc. We had the Lobster Rolls and Clam Chowder Soup! Food was better then Red Lobster by far!! Sandy Utah Location!
Do you enjoy crap service? How about your food taking almost an hour to get? Getting the wrong food/cold food? if you answered yes to any of the above, TOTALLY go here! Went in Friday evening, ordered and sat down to wait. took almost an hour to get our food, when they brought mine it was wrong. Food was piling up at server window while the person at front was messing around with the cashier screen and their phone. It wasn't packed by any means, I get it was probably cause short staffed but still no excuse. Finally got foodat which was cold, and they didn't even give me a full order. Missing 2 shrimp and majority of my fries. Didnt dare wait to be fixed, didn't want to wait another hour. Go to Farmington station if you want slapfish. This location is pure trash!
Not bad, no complaints, shrimp bowl was really good, i had lobster taquito where good, fry shrimp taquito was excellent, fish street taco was good, fish and chips was really good i will come back for seviche
First time visiting and i can tell , this bowl was soo good! Food head up just right on time . The menu is very simple to read so you can choose your variety fast ! Cant wait to visit again ??
Ordered our food (1 order of fish and chips) to go and sat down right in front of the take-out/order counter to wait. The person who took our order had to walk past us every time he took food to another customer. After 4 other customers that ordered after we did were served before us, we asked about our order. He couldn't find the order and asked us for our receipt. We finally got our food after 48 minutes according to the time on the receipt. No apology, no napkins, dirty tables, average food. I WAS a favorite of ours.
