This is a great restaurant. There was a long wait, but it was totally worth it! The Californian Sunrise pizza was very good, and we tried the Italian Job in a calzone. The Mulligatawny soup was also a perfect appetizer for the meal. The staff was friendly, and the venue was very cool! I’ll definitely be coming back!

I REALLY don't get the hype. I've wanted to eat here for at least a year and just haven't gone. Finally went and man, I'm disappointed. The restaurant is loud and cramped, the plates and forks brought to our table upon being sat were filthy. The restaurant was busy so it took about 10 minutes for our waiter to come get our drink order. By then we were ready to just order. The garage doors were open so we were swatting flies throughout the meal too.Food came out, and it was just okay. Meatballs had no flavor; relying solely on the marinara to flavor them. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is like a pizza crust (the cheese sticks were more like a calzone than this) stuffed without distribution. The chicken was all on one side, there was a pile of onions in the very middle but nowhere else. And the chicken was dry.Our waiter was very nice despite being busy, but overall I left disappointed. Maybe the pizza is better but I don't know. This place is always crowded so I expected better, but it really wasn't very good in my opinion.

Lovely atmosphere. Lots of menu options for any taste preference. The crust on the pizza is the best. This visit we tried the gyro pizza and the bbq pizza. Both delicious. This location is busy whenever we have come but never an issue. With how busy it is you know it’s gotta be good.Indoor seating along with a bar option. They also have patio seating if you prefer to be outside. Highly recommend trying it out.

Fair prices, variety of options (including several vegan options), typical American cuisine. We've heard great things about Slackwater and the >1hr wait on a Thursday was indicative of their popularity. My husband ordered a turkey bacon avocado sandwich, which was amazing! I was told they're known for their pizza, so I ordered a Sparta pizza and found it wasn't anything special. The dough had no flavor (similar to the potato chips). They both needed at least some salt. The variety of pizza toppings was fun though!

I had a great experience here today. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was that I tried a pizza I normally wouldn't have and was not too happy with it. That's a chance one takes with a new restaurant. But the menu offers plenty of options, so I'm eager to try again. Overall, this is a great place to try.

Went in for dinner - nice place, good decor. Our waiter was great - Gavin L. - thank you. started with a beer and appetizer - Garlic breath - the garlic was good but the blue cheese spread was not good at all - yuck! Next Had a beer and a couple of pizzas. Pizzas were average and the beer was good.

Slackwater has a cool brewery vibe with excellent food! There are so many beer options I never know what to pick, but the servers always have great recommendations! We started with wings and a side Caesar salad. The wings are fresh, crispy, juicy, well sauced and the flavor of the sauce is outstanding! It is a buffalo base with a hint of sweetness, just perfect. The Caesar was light, fresh and tasty. We ordered a margarita and an Italian pizza (sub marinara in place for the olive oil base). Both pizzas were perfectly cooked, tasty, and the crust is slightly sweet and amazing. Slackwater is simply amazing!

Perhaps 5 is a scintilla high, but only because I got no salt for my beer until the first pint was down the hatch. Otherwise Riley did a great job ordering and serving us a great meal. My pizza was great & my spouse enjoyed her salad & buffalo wings!

I ordered the gyro pizza! OMG! Delish! our waiter Mayo was so helpful and knowledgeable in all drinks. This is a must go to place

Great food and service, delicious pizza
