Incredibly bland food, I’m so disappointed. I’ve eaten at the original location for years and was so excited when they opened a new spot near me. First time ordering will be my last - the Chicken Tikka Masala has almost no flavor, and the yellow daal is more like yellow water with the usual ingredients floating in it. Seems like my experience is an outlier based on so many other great reviews, but unfortunately it’s the experience I had.
I'm not one for hyperbole, but I was completely blown away by the food here. I wasn't too familiar with Nepalese food before coming here. I mostly wanted to try some of the Indian dishes, but my wife and I decided to branch out and try some of the more traditional Nepali dishes. It was SO good. We are originally from the NYC area, so we are used to really good ethnic food and this place felt like I was back home. I did not feel like I was in Utah, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Most definitely will be back - I want to try the momo!
I was excited to try this place after reading all the positive reviews. It is without a doubt the most bland Indian food I have ever eaten. The dishes had heat but were 2/10 on flavor. The chicken was terribly dry. The vegetables were cooked well, but had absolutely no flavor. The service was friendly and kind, but painfully slow. Sad to say that I won’t come back.
Wow!! I’ve found my favorite restaurant! Their food is very tasty, we ordered 3 different dishes and 2 appetizers. The portions are great, more than we could eat, and we could tell they were made with fresh ingredients.
Their food is excellent, very fresh! Great service with a clean and beautiful atmosphere inside.
This place is so delicious and the service is excellent. We got the chicken curry, butter chicken, poori, and garlic naan and all of it was phenomenal. The flavors are all spot on and the spice has such a good flavor and kick. It’s all on a really accurate scale so you can find the right level for you. We definitely plan on returning!!
Just went there for the first time and I fell in love with place, i tried the coconut lamb and my son had the mushrooms lamb, both were absolutely delicious! The lady is very nice and the place is super cozy with Nepalese music, i will be coming back for sure! Had the greatest experience!
Saw the place by coincidence and wanted to try it out .. Went in for a take out . the place had a nice atmosphere . I ordered the FULL chicken tandoori with Garlic Nan .. I get home and I was surprised with a few drumsticks . I think they mistook me for an 8 year old .. A full chicken is a full chicken NOT 5 or 6 drumsticks . the taste of the tandoori on the drumsticks was close to non existing , it was just an orange color of some sort .. The vegetables were okay however still needed stronger spices .. The rice , though looked like basmati was so dry that it tasted like nothing .. I don't usually do this but the meal wasn't cheap and it was one of the worse I have ever had ..
Wow! I had been trying to order here for weeks, but I always seemed to catch them when they were closed; however, after today, it was well worth the wait. After just getting out of work, I went in an hour before they closed, so it was pretty empty. Everything in the dining room was nice and clean (as well as the bathrooms), and I was helped by a waitress who was polite and kindly answered any questions that I had. The food was ready in about 10 minutes (I think it took less time since it was empty), and it was phenomenal! The curry chicken and rice was satisfying yet filling, and the naan bread was nice and toasted on the outside but soft on the inside. The kheer was nice and creamy and had a distinct flavor to it; at first, I thought they hadn’t given me enough of it, but after that huge curry chicken meal (which is more than enough for one serving), I decided it was the perfect amount of kheer to end the meal. I’ve only been to two Indian restaurants, but this is by far the best one so far.
The restaurant was quiet, but I visited between lunch and dinner on a Saturday, so your mileage may vary. The restaurant is nice, though dimly lit, and the service was good. My chicken korma was very tasty and I have high hopes for the chicken jalfrezi that I got as carry out. The mango coconut shake was a bit warm and took a little getting used to, but after that it was good.
