Not much care is given at this plates. It's a little concerning when your food is brought out 5 min after you order. Tortilla on my burrito was cold and my taco was burnt. Most of the meat is under seasoned and taste like from a can. Margaritas were good but couldn't save me from the taste.Also....the sour cream from a packet... I at least want to be fooled that it's fresh.
I was in the mood for comida casera, like chiles rellenos con carne. Unfortunately, they only had them prepped with cheese. So, I asked our waitress what she recommended and of course, tacos and burritos. I ended up ordering puerco en salsa verde. Plate was brought out to my table. It taste good but, wasn't what I ordered. By the way, verde is green.
Huge portions. Great service the first night, second night was so horrible I didn't leave a tip ~ only the second time I'm my 56 years have I not left a tip. Reason? My dinner was delivered, I took three bites and the server left the check...I didn't see her again for 20 minutes. I wanted a second beer, nearly had to grab her because she ignored me whenever I called or waved to her. The food was good, but I'll never go back.
This is our go to spot here in Sandy. The food is excellent, the service is great, and you do not have to wait to get a table.The food has excellent flavor, they always bring out fresh chips and salsa when you run out.Specifically, we had the flautas and the Chicken fajitas. The beans and rice were on point and seriously some of the best we have ever had.Price is very reasonable.Overall, I do not understand the negative reviews of this place. I have been to several Tex-mex restaurants and this is easily the best one in Utah.Keep up the great work!
We tried this place impulsively and were pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious. And the prices are reasonable.
Nice location, served one cooked tamale & one cold tamale that was cold to the touch & through the center. When we brought it to the waitress attention she corrected the situation & made it better. Good drinks
Great food and we order out from there often. However, check your food for accuracy before leaving. As mentioned order from here often but the order is wrong about 50% of the time.
First and last time eating at this Mexican restaurant. Very disappointing experience. I picked up an online order for my moms birthday and they shorted me two meals (one of the meals was hers:(. The remaining meals were mostly smothered burritos with cheese (which costs extra) and they forgot the cheese. The burritos were basically just flour tortilla with some chili verde sauce on top...totally flat burritos.
Great service and great food. I ordered the shredded chicken burrito covered with pork and green sauce. The salsa was good and not to spicy. Ull be back
Best Mexican food near my house. The staff is always pleasant, the smothered burrito special is the beat food you can get for 10 bucks. Free chips in salsa when you dine in, and the salsa is fantastic.
