I’m sorry, this place’s food is very bad. The drinks had no alcohol, the rice was frozen mixed veggies and chili powder, and the meat was terrible. The food was flavorless. Furthermore, I ordered carne asada enchiladas and got thin tough flank steak. We left all the food on the table and left. $100 for 3 people? How?I had to work hard for that $100, and I felt that I have been robbed. It is two days later, and I’m still mad. $100 for three plates after they took the drinks off?! Please pay close attention to your receipt. I did not, and now I feel that I was scammed in addition to being robbed.

We sat outside, the waitress was nice but we only saw her twice the whole hour we were out there. Food was not great. A lot of waiting for not special food.

Service was slow and hard to grab the waitress when needed. No refills, had to ask for everything more than once. Food was not good, cold and bland. The chips, salsa and beans were the best part.

Great Food Great Service! What a fun way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo

This restaurant is in a strip mall in Sandy, UT and it's not a place likely to attract tourists. However, the food was amazing and prices were reasonable. The decor was typical of a Mexican restaurant. Overall a very good experience. The only downfall was mediocre service but that is almost par for the course in mid-priced restaurants these days.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Their chips and salsa are so good. I love their salsa, I wish they would sell bottles of it. They also bring you some refried beans with the chips and salsa. I love the 2 dipping options for the chips. They have a great menu that is reasonably priced. They send out coupons a lot of the time as well. The service is always very quick here.

We have been huge fans of La Costa for many years. There food has been amazing and so hot and fresh. I’m not sure if they have new owners or what, but the good is not good anymore. The food feels like it has been frozen then they reheat it once you order it, because it comes out WAY TOO fast to be made fresh. Our waitress joked that “everything is mild, because it isn’t real Mexican.” I will not be returning anytime soon. Do not order the tamales, they are not fresh and or hot. They are too chewy to even enjoy. La Costa you were great beforehand, but something changed for the worse.

The food was well cooked and the flour tortillas for the fajitas were ample. However I found two shrimp tails in my shrimp fajitas.

Ordered two burritos. One was something like Burrito La Costa and the other was Burrito Special/Especial. Online menu differs from lunch menu we received. Good shredded beef and good chile verde just not a whole lot of it. At least we had the option of more than ground beef! Could understand if amount was a "lunch serving" but the prices weren't reduced accordingly. Tender meat with good sauces was just a little sparse.
