I was excited to find another hibachi place, and when I was waiting to be seated it was looking promising. However, our waiter was terrible. He came up after a while after sitting there waiting for him, and finally took our order. Then he disappeared for about 20 minutes and came back and asked us how our meal was... We were all sitting there looking at each other like we're still waiting for our chef to come out. Then the chef came out and seemed a little annoyed of us, but then ended up being great! The sides were good, but the protein was meh. Then to top it all off our waiter took an incredibly long time to come give us the bill. So long that we were scared to give him our credit card for fear that we might not see him for another 20 minutes. It ended up being another 10 minutes. So not too bad but when it's all together like that, It became a little bit frustrating. All in all it was a fine experience, but I probably won't go back. I'll probably stick to my main hibachi place.
Amazing place for you and family. Great service with friendly and nicely smiling form the employees. Highly recommend the food I added in the picture. I asked them surprise me. Delicious and not too full after dinner. Perfect size for order of 2.Thank you for your service guy. Great job and awesome feeling.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️?????
We ate on the Sushi side of restaurant. It was a spontaneous drive by U-turn Sunday evening last minute dinner decision where you just spot a sign in a stop mall that said “open” with a lot of cars in front. The chef was Vietnamese and was meticulous about his his craft. It was very good and the fish was very fresh. But a few things. The miso soup tasted like it was packaged and didn’t have the typical fresh chopped chives or green onion, and was served like warm, the green hot tea was served in a coffee cup , not in a pot of hot water with a tea cup, the cheesecake desert was frozen solid. The place is very popular in though. And the customers seemed to be enjoying their service and food. The hibachi chefs appear to be talented and entertaining, even offering filet and lobster for $33. I’ve never seen prices so reasonable. Somethings seem pricey here others are average. It’s a nice place for the family or a date.
We loved going to Koi hibachi for my nieces 1st bday party. The kids enjoyed the show and we all enjoyed the food
For the quality of sushi they serve it should always be half off. Not exactly the highest quality of fish. Decent variety though. The server didn’t understand us so we were limited with our ordering. The habachi looked like it could be a cool night out.
Can we say disappointed. From the outside, before walking in, one might think it’s a perfect place for a romantic dinner date but once you walk in, it’s actually the opposite. The soft and half-dimmed ambient lights are non-existent…try extremely bright LED ceiling lights, open boxes of restaurant supplies to the right of the sushi bar, cleaning supplies to the left of the sushi bar, a very strong smell of deep fried foods that clings to your clothes, hair, skin, you make it. BTW… there’s construction right in front of the restaurant, on the parking lot.The hostess looked and acted extremely unprofessional, wearing a hoodie, jeans and sneakers. The sushi was mediocre at best. The service could’ve been better. Our server was inattentive and got confused with our order. She brought us the wrong rolls at one point and then basically forgot to check back on us.The restaurant is small but for some reason divided in two sections: one for the communal hibachi grill tables and one for the sushi bar. One is not far apart enough from the other to feel like they’re supposed to be separate sections. You can actually hear everything that’s going on in the grilling room LOUD and CLEAR from the sushi bar side. Not going back. You might not want to waste your time and money.
Although the food and our chef were great the service was terrible! We called for a reservation and set it for 6:30pm. We got there at 6:15 and they said we’d have to wait 40 minutes because another group had come in. Why even make the reservation?! After more than an hour we were seated. We then sat at the table for another 30 minutes. New groups were walking in and seated and ordered food and drinks before someone even came over to us. We ordered 4 sushi rolls along with the hibachi. We asked multiple times about the sushi and was told it was in the que. There were literally only 3 families total in the restaurant btw. Hibachi was cooked and everyone was done eating when we asked about the sushi for a third time just to find out they had never even given our order to the chef. They asked us if we could take it to go. Like no! We had already waited two hours. Some of us had only ordered sushi and waited 2+hours to leave empty handed. Also no refills were ever offered. I wouldn’t waste my time here again.
Great show. Service was friendly but could have replenished drinks more frequently. Food was good. Basically all meat dishes taste the same, but steak is tender.
This restaurant is slightly smaller than some of the other well-known chains, but we were able to get seated fairly quickly. They offer some very authentic and delicious sushi as well as the vast hibachi menu items. They will accommodate people with allergies by cooking those first without the offending ingredients, but as they are cooking it on one surface it will take longer to serve everyone. Our chef was so kind and really went out of his way to make our experience enjoyable. The food was really, really delicious. We had a large party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything. The waitress was also very kind and knowledgeable in the various menu items. She made sure everyone had whatever they needed. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area.
Oh man this place is amazing. Go to sushi place for me. Although they've raised the price by a dollar 2 times now. I still love it and the price is still way too good for the quality. Also make sure you get the fried rice because they make the absolute best. Thanks bye
