We consistently choose Jim’s for Saturday breakfast. Great food, service and an excellent value for the entire family. The menus has something for everyone.
Surprisingly great! A super menu and the mom & pop kind of food. Things tasted great. Only thing that could have been better would have been to have a mixed green salad with tomatoes. Don't get me wrong the iceberg lettuce was very fresh and crisp with a cucumber slice but minus tomatoes. If iceberg lettuce wasn't nothing but fiber, there wouldn't be as much of a problem. My preference is mixed greens for the variety in taste and color. But we'll be back
I ate at Jim’s SAturdY and Sunday For supper on Saturday I had the steak with shrimp which was good. In fact I’ve had it there before. On Sunday I tried the chicken souvlaki which I normally get that other establishment. The chicken souvlaki came with some kind of vegetable that tasted like wax. In fact the whole dinner tasted like it had been purchased from Costco and warmed up in the microwave except if it had been from Costco it would’ve tasted better. This is definitely not the way to prepare chicken souvlaki. It was dry and tasteless. I did not finish the meal and I’m very disappointed because it’s the first time I’ve had some thing at Jim’s that was terrible
This is always our go to for breakfast. Usually the American Fork location, but this one didn't disappoint. Plenty of yummy food, fast service, and the friendliest staff a restaurant can have. I highly recommend any Jim's location but I have personal experience with this one and the Amercan Fork location. You can often find the owner Mike working hard at the AF location. He is very personable and you can tell he loves his restaurant and wants all to feel at home.
Nice restaurant with a decent sized menu. Sandwiches, burgers, homestyle meals, breakfast served all day. Staff was friendly. The place wasn't packed but was busy. There were a couple of large groups there and they were easily accommodated. I had a salad with my meal and it was served on a chilled metal plate. Nice touch. The salad was crisp and cool all throughout.
Truly the food was prepared home style quality, hot and ready and consistently large servings!
Amazing small town diner feel. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The portions are massive! Sometimes Jim himself will visit and he always makes the rounds to every table to greet you and make sure everything is alright. If you haven't been you need to go! Our favorite is the souvlaki and a side of feta, olive, and tomatoes. The food tastes fantastic, just like mom used to make!
For 20 years I have seen Jim's around town, but never went to one.Boy, was I missing out!!!!Their food is great!The servers are SO friendly!!Even the manager is super friendly!REALLY love going there!The portions are usually really good for the price.Everyone in our family really enjoys their food!My Mom has to have her bi weekly Hot Turkey Sandwich fix.... she is so funny!!A shout out to our favorite waitress Karen!!She is so good about remembering not only our names, but all kinds of stuff about our family.She is what puts Family in Jim's family diner! :-)
I recently ate at Jim's and had an all around good experience. I had a waffle and my wife had a club sandwich. They were both good. The staff were kind and attentive. My only slight complaint is that they seemed to be packing all of the patrons into a segment of the restaurant and not using all of their space. I would have appreciated a little breathing room away from the tables near me, but I understand that it likely was to help the staff more readily get to and help the tables. I can imagine that my family will come back again in the future.
We had a wonderful experience at Jim's! I highly recommend this Restaurant! Very clean, excellent service, friendly people! The food was fantastic! My mom and I had the French Dip and Salad and my husband had Chicken Fried Steak. Tender and tasty! The manager came to every table to ask if everything was good and okay. We will definitely be back!! ?
