We were so impressed with this restaurant. They have some really good Indian food .We started with the Assorted Snacks, this one is perfect because it comes with a little of everything to try & of course we had to wash it down with a mango and strawberry LassiThings we tried ~>STARTERS-Samosa chaat & chicken samosa: vegetable or chicken and green peas, wrapped in pastry dough and fried.-Vegetable Pakoras: seasoned mixed vegetables battered in chickpea flour and deep fried .-Mango Cauliflower - this was ohhh soooo yummyBREADS : -Garlic Naan-Paneer Naan( the paneer cheese one is my fav. Both are really good though, it’s best to get one of each)-Chicken Tikka Masala: this is their most popular and particularly my favorite. it is chicken breast marinated in yogurt and ground spices .-Saag Paneer - the green curry.- Lamb coconut - the yellow curry-Butter Chicken - the red curry-And Yellow Basmati riceWe loved all of them. So many different spices and flavors it really awakens your tastebuds. They have vegetarian options as well. Harkamal was our waitress and she was awesomeOverall we had a great experience here !
I had dinner this evening and feel disrespected and do not believe I will be back. I ordered mild veggie masala. My partner ordered medium chicken masala. The waitress asked how it was. I let her know there was not much flavor. Asked if they could add some sauce. She ended up bringing me a whole new bowl dropped it at the table and walked off without a word. The other lady walked up and said is something wrong and that it was because of the spice. Let her know it had no flavor. It was not the spice it had no flavor. They were both quite rude. If you do not want to know how things are then do not ask. That was very disrespectful and rude. We will not be back. By the way the 2nd bowl actually had flavor, not that they asked or cared to check in on us after that interaction. We were ignored until she finally stopped and asked if everything was ok after she walked past numerous times to the table behind us. We had to ask for a to go box. Horrible service.
Very good Indian food here! Friendly and prompt service, welcoming environment. I especially loved the lamb saag and the chicken samosas. Definitely recommend if you love Indian food!
Very glad we tried it out. Great flavors and selection. Only issue was a miscommunication on a rare food allergy, but they fixed it quickly. We'll return.Returned: 2nd time was great too. Lamb coconut Korma is a favorite. Portions are nice - not enormous or too petite. Updated to 5 stars
This was my first time at india house. My server Manny was amazing! He made great food suggestions and was very attentive. Food was fantastic! Will definitely be back to see Manny! Thank you!
This is my go-to place for Indian food near me. I've liked everything I've gotten here, and their Saag is the standard by which I judge all others. The food is great, the price is right, and I highly recommend India House.
Just a wonderful amazing great staff and amazing food
Good Indian food not the best I’ve had but the garlic naan was fantastic
India house was delicious. I’ve been trying to find great Indian on the south side of Salt Lake valley and India House has been my favorite so far. All three curries (saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, and lamb coconut korma) were absolutely delicious. My favorite with the lamb coconut korma. Everything was full, flavorful, and fresh. The garlic naan was delicious and they really went all out on making it stand out too. Often times the garlic naan at other establishments feels like the “garlic” was kind of thrown on at the end. At India House, it felt like they were really making it stand out. Everything was great. The service was great. I’ll be going back for sure and those with me completely agreed as well.
Amazing flavor and consistency. Their dishes are top notch and the variety is second to none. Try the Chicken Tandoori. It's done with some incredible spices. I also loved the Lamb Vindaloo. They have a great menu.
