Delicious huge portions! Smal is 2.5 scoops of one flavor only and I picked Oreo!!! Delicious!!! The dark chocolate covered waffle was soooo good ?
I had a few minutes to kill on a 100° summer day before picking my kiddo up from camp. I decided to wander in and check our Handel’s after stopping at Scheels in Sandy. I worked at an Ice Cream Shop in High school and any place I’ve tried doesn’t quite stack up.... until now. There was a little line, but the staff worked through it quickly. The ice cream parlor is clean and the staff is very friendly. I had chocolate marshmallow and coffee chip. Handel’s ice cream is delicious, the right amount of sweet and the perfect mix of butterfat! I will definitely be bringing my son back in!
My family loves good quality ice cream. Handel’s is our favorite place to get ice cream in the Salt Lake metro area. There’s a good variety of flavors on the menu. The servings are generous. The employees we’ve encountered have been friendly and helpful.
First time here and staff was super friendly and accommodating. I didn’t know the mediums would be so big. I tried the 4 scoop sampler bc I couldn’t decide.
Got the Birthday Cake Monster Shake. Love it! Delicious and generous size. Definitely coming back!If it’s your first time you should know the ice cream flavors are also the malt and shake flavors though that may be unclear if you don’t ask.
Fun, delicious ice cream with different flavors. I had Spouse like a House in a dish and my husband had Caramel Pretzel Crunch in a chocolate cone with nuts. More than we needed! So good!
This Handels is the best! Always friendly people anxious to serve us the best ice cream out there! You won’t regret indulging into your guilty pleasure here. It’ll be well worth it. The Pralines and Cream is to die for. Best I’ve ever had!! Love this place.:)
I LOVE THIS PLACE. They change their flavors regularly and every time I come in, I'm surprised and delighted by something new. Today I tried grape ice cream and my inner child woke up a little. Any of their cinnamon flavors (snickerdoodle, graham cracker, etc) are just incredible. One of our favorite stops when out with friends near Sandy
We first tried Handel's in St George and then we're so excited to get a location closer to us in Salt Lake!This is the best ice cream!! You will not be disappointed. Super creamy homemade ice cream I love that they have so many unique flavors to choose from. I've loved everything coconut flavored that I've tried and really love the banana cream pie and coconut cream pie. My daughter loves the Midnight Madness (dark chocolate with peanut butter Oreos and peanut butter ripples). Yum!!!
I've cream was great. Staff members were friendly. Only thing I'd change is the ordering setup/procedure. I'm sure it's straight-forward for those that have been there before but it was confusing to the many of us that had not been there before. Nobody knew where the line was, where to order, or where to pickup. It was chaotic. A couple signs would clear things right up. Very good overall though.
