main issues: 1. You have no idea when your order will be ready until you submit it (and pay) 2. Once you do submit the order on the app, the pick up time you're given will be about 45-60 min earlier than your order will actually be ready. 3. If you want to cancel your order because of these issues, you'll need to go in because they don't answer the phone.About a month ago I ordered from this location for pickup via the Domino's app. I was given about a 45 min time frame for my order to be complete. However, about 60 min after placing my order the Domino's Order Tracker still said my order was "being prepared" (translation: "not started") I thought there must be an issue with the tracker so I went into the store. I was told it'd be about another 45 min or so because they were short staffed. I understood and sat and waited. While I was waiting I noticed a few things. The phone was ringing and ringing multiple times. I didn't see anyone answer it for the entire time I was sitting there. Another customer entered the store with his cell phone to his ear. When the employee asked if he could help the customer, the customer pointed to the ringing Domino's phone and said "that's me calling you, its been ringing forever". I also noticed that the poor two people on staff for a dinner rush seemed to be running around busily, but there is no great system for them to crank out orders - an operational nightmare. I ended up getting my order eventually (about 65 min AFTER my estimated pick up time).Thinking that was just a one-off due to short staffing, I placed an order via the app again at this location two days ago and experienced the same thing. Knowing what I was in for, when the tracker still said my order was "being prepared" 5 minutes before my estimated pick up time, I went into the store. The parking lot was full with people in their cars waiting for their orders. I went in and was told it would be another 45 min (past my estimated pick up time). The only good thing I can say about this situation, is that the employee was so over worked and eager to cancel my order that he had the cancelation receipt in my hand before I even finished my sentence informing him to cancel it.
I love this particular Dominoes! I forgo delivery from my local store and choose to pickup my pizza from this location in the neighboring town. They always have fresh ingredients. The crust is never burnt. The cheese is a never skimpy even with out adding extra cheese. Oh but if you do opt for extra cheese it's always enough. My local store pizza's usually arrive old and cold with very little cheese. They are honestly terrible. Thank goodness for this Sandy location on 700 E Yum!
I ordered my pizza at 5:38 through their online app it said my order would be ready between 6:22-6:34. I arrived at the store at 6:30 and was told my order would still be another 30 minutes. I went back in at 7:08 and my pizza had still not been started. The lady working told me to feel free to get back there and help them make the pizza! I was furious and canceled my order. Two hours is too long to wait for any food, let alone a Dominos pizza.
Probably my worst experience with Domino's Pizza so far. I would not go to the store if my life depended on it. Service is absolutely terrible. Our food showed up an hour and a half after our order was placed. When our food was delivered it was cold. And we were missing two of our sides. I tried to stop the delivery guy who proceeded to drive away. After waiting on hold for 22 minutes the guy that answered instantly knew that we were missing our sides and advised me that they would be able to deliver them in 4 minutes. We have now waited over 30 minutes for our sides. Honestly this is just terrible customer service and management should look into hiring more dependable people.
I think if they deserve a tip, the website shouldn't have to ask for one during checkout. I think people need to earn a tip first, I think attitude and people skills are what earnsa tip, not just because they are working a job. I have been in the service industry for over 50 years and would rarely get a tip. Try having a better attitude next time and you'll get a tip as they didn't see it on the slip as I was paying cash
The worst service! We waited for nearly 2 hours for our pizza. They won't pick up phones. How do I cancel my order? Seriously if you don't want to deliver, just say so on your site. Don't order. I will never order from here again.. So disappointed!
Always quality pizza, they're always working as hard and fast as they can to get orders out as fast as possible even with what seems like constant low staffing, and a steady flow of customers. Great Location! One of the best in the area
If you are the manager of this store, please do your self a favor and quit. You are too incompetent to tie your shoes, much less run a store. Phone is NEVER answered, call backs never made, deliveries made to who knows where, even domino’s tracking software shows it made to somewhere other than the address on the order. By a mile! And that with detailed instructions to help the illiterate clown driving around throwing pizza at random addresses. Avoid this store at all costs.
We've ordered from this place many times. As of late it tales upwards of an hour to get you food delivered. So of course by that time it is cold and dry. They are short on help so most of the delivery time is spent driving around to deliver multiple orders. Then there was the time it was burnt that was a real treat.
The advertising seems to be misleading. The deal I choose to order seem to say $19.99 but by checkout I had unknowingly spent $32 and it wasn't really clear where the extra charge came from. Also the order took longer than expected, but I did receive a coupon for my next order which I will carefully review before finalizing my order. My heads up to friends and family will be read the fine print before ordering . This was the second time delivery took longer than expected.
