Chin-Wah gave us the wrong order and refused to make it right by replacing the ham fried rice with the chicken fried rice we actually ordered. The employee started screaming over the phone that she was the person who took the order and took it down as we ordered it. Several people in our family heard the other being placed and we all heard chicken fried rice. Our family have been long time customers of Chin-Wah, but we have too many other fine options for Chinese food in Sandy to continue our relationship with Chin-Wah. Times are tough all over but there’s no excuse to treat customers this way who are trying to solve a problem in good faith.

This use to be our favorite restaurant to eat at, however we will never be spending our hard earned money here again. They have been closed for dining for at least a year now due to the pandemic. Well than state that on your website and answering service. When questioning the staff they were rude and basically no longer care about customer service. So please be aware and don’t make the drive to find out there dining room IS STILL CLOSED!!!!!?

Very disappointed and angry. I haven’t eaten here for a few years due to moving out of state. My husband is from New York and he loves Chinese food so I kept telling him how great chin-wah is. We finally go there and the food is the worst I’ve ever had. And they charged $96 for a dinner for 4 people!! The prices weren’t posted anywhere and you can’t go and sit down inside to look at the menu. So I’m thinking a dinner for 2 at a Chinese food restaurant is probably $20-$25. Not $40 and $38. I’m throughly disgusted. The food tastes horrible. If I knew I could get my money back I most definitely would and believe me I am NEVER going to eat here again.

Went over to eat they still have not opened up their dining area, which they say they can’t get employees, I don’t believe it, so we got the food to go, the orange chicken was terrible, the breading tasted old and was falling all off, the sauce seemed like it was the plum sauce for egg rolls, I got six shrimp and two of them were definitely old I have no doubt, I think they had been laying around there all day if not from prior day, the chow mein tasted really fresh it was the only thing worth eating , I would not recommend it to anyone and I will never go back terrible experience

I spent $57 for orange chicken with no orange sauce, basic Mongolian beef, pot stickers were the highlight, crab Rangoon that was horrible. I was recommended to come here, as it's family owned and operated. There's a gentleman I know who built the place, his name is Art.I was extremely disappointed and so was my wife! China Grill in Holiday is 10 times better. You really need to make sure your food is cooked properly. You are a scam for what you charge!!!

WARNING- DO NOT EAT HERE! I’ve been going to this restaurant for nearly 30 years. They don’t have dine in so I haven’t been in a little while. We decided to get take out on our way home from a funeral. WOW they’ve had a significant price increase! The char shu (pork) fried rice tasted off. The first bite tasted off, the second tasted rancid and I spit it out. It was such an awful taste I didn’t eat another thing that day. Within 5 hours I became the sickest I’ve ever been from food poisoning. I had spent the day at a funeral, the Chinese food was the only thing I ate that day. We called to ask about the pork possible being bad etc and they couldn’t care less. So disappointing to spend so much money on bad food and to be treated so poorly. I will never go back!*I’d like to add that I ended up in the hospital after four days of vomiting etc. on IV fluids and medication for diagnosed food poisoning.

I have been a patron of Chin Wah for about 23 years. I keep going back because their staff is fantastic and their food is just amazing. You can’t go wrong dining in or ordering take-out from them :)

BEWARE OF BIG PRICE INCREASES & Poor Quality! I haven't been to CHIN WAH in a while but I was extremely disappointed today. Beware the employees claim the website on Google is not their website, that a third party put it up, that day they do not have a webpage, even though it is chinwag restaurant. Com, so do not look at their menu or anything else. They increased their prices dramatically the only menu I could find online with prices showed each of the dinners at $8.00 ish but each meal is actually closer to $15 each. The quality is also much much less than it used to be. I used to go to this place at least 1x month, but the Phoenix chicken was no longer great, the spring rolls were mushy inside, and their sweet & sour tasted very off. One of the meals spilled sauce and dropped from the bag into the car. When I called just to ask about what I had been charged, the person answering the phone said 'well, people have to call to ask the prices before they order.' Really? If you do take out and you know your prices are not online, or are posted incorrectly at the Google site, tell your customers! It is very shady to intentionally mislead your customers!

Very over priced. The food taste okay nothing special. If you order online make sure you ask how much everything is. Their online menu didn't reflect the price of the item.

Came here today to get take out that's the only way they can offer their great Chinese food, I was told don't have enough staff to keep the restaurant open for dine in, so I don't know when that will change but I called in a take out order my usual is Salt and Pepper Chicken, my husband wanted his usual Sweet and Sour Pork it was really good, I do prefer dine in so hopefully it will change soon try to support them though order out
