All 4 people in my group got something with chicken that tasted bad and undercooked. When I asked them to cook it more they took it for a quick minute and brought it back really burned on one side and still looked undercooked on the other. Even though the food sucked my kids wanted a dessert since we were out celebrating my youngest graduating elementary school I said yes...well the cookie skillet was fine but the sauce on the cheesecake had fermented and made my child almost vomit. This place used to be good but nothing about our last 2 visits have been. After telling the server of the problems a manager never stopped by just to say sorry or see if we were good after I said they gave my kid rotten food.
Please read to see why I gave a 1 star.Tyler was super cool and got us our food in a very fast and timely matter. At 10:45pm we decided that we were going to get our check so that we didn't stay until close. We asked for our check and the cheesecake because I got the meal for 2. We waited until about 11:10pm and our cheesecake didn't come out. A worker (short hair woman with glasses that was in the bar that night) was making passive aggressive comments about, "It's way past close" and "Wow! We're really closed, huh?" to other workers. So, thanks! I really wanted to stay past close and make you guys wait on our table! I very much looked forward to doing that to your workers!! Hopefully I can get what I paid for next time, thanks!
My husband and I love this place. Good quality of food and very friendly staff.
Ordered takeout here. When I got home I realized they gave me chicken when I ordered shrimp, forgot my chips and salsa, portions were tiny and the avocado they put in my plate is the most un-appetizing thing I’ve ever seen. When I tried to call, the answering machine told me that they do not accept phone calls.
Chili's is a typical restaurant chain. What set this apart was the service we received. Larger party of 9. We had to split between 2 tables but they were right next to each other. Our server was exceptional. Even though the place was crazy busy we got our orders taken and meals were out very quickly. Food was hot. It all came out within just a few mins of each other. Great experience.
The best parts were the ketchup, transparency when it came to waiting to be seated (they said 45 minutes and it wasn’t a minute later which is decent for peak time on a Saturday night), and I was most impressed by the food running system; the waitress doesn’t bring food or drinks but takes your order and checks if anything is needed, instead they have separate staff who brings your food when it’s ready and perhaps that’s because it’s a busy night. When we went here and found out about the wait I called the ft union location, but they were closing at 7 because they were understaffed. Honestly, I should’ve gotten a burger, the ribeye was pretty bad but you get what you pay for, great fries though and great service.
Ordered to-go, was missing food. Called and asked for a manager, was on hold for over 10 minutes. Tried calling about 30 minutes later, and either their phones aren’t working, or they are ignoring me over the phone. I’d like to have a refund if anyone can learn how to work a simple phone.
2 of us ordered lunch, then another group of 6 came in 5 min after. The large group got their food and we were wondering, well maybe they ordered more simple food. 5 more min went by and the waiter came by and asked us if we ordered..... HE TOOK OUR ORDER!They were good people, and good food, but that was a good sized mix up. Got our food after an hour and the larger group left. They did give us a discount, admitted their mistake, but we had to move our meetings just to finish lunch.
Tonight we had an incident of being disrespected by a table of white girl guests (4) that choose to put their food, used cob of corn, on our table as we sat and ate our appetizers. Luckily the waiter and manager had the most professional form of handling the incident. They made sure the rest of our time lovely. They both even confronted the table and reminded them to not do such things. I seriously am so grateful the Staff and manager handled the incident and still made our dinner comfortable ? thank you again so much!!!
Chili’s has excellent deals and has something for everyone. I personally stick to their 3 for 10 and 2 for 25 deals. Outside of the deals I think they’re a little more expensive than it’s typically worth. Their chips and salsa are great. I also love their strawberry lemonade. As far as entrees go I’m a fan of their fajitas, chicken crispers, and Cajun pasta. Great deals. Good food.
