Interesting and different menu that proves to be tasty, too. You order at the counter then they deliver it to your table. They also buss and clean the tables.
Ordered a Mediterranean salad, and they didn’t tell me they were out of hummus which comes on the salad. I ordered extra pita bread for the hummus. I get there to pick up and go to check salad. No hummus. For a 15 dollar salad— everything should be on there. I let her know if would have been nice to let me know or I wouldn’t have gotten the salad. A Mediterranean salad is ordered for the hummus. Or in just get a basic salad.
they were short staffed but then again who isn't short staffed in 2022? food here is always good. not really jiving with the layout of the dining area, seems pretty bland and cafeteria feeling. but like I said the food is good. kids love the mac and cheese with apples and toffee .salmon is good. the beef is good. overall good, not great.
I cater lunch to clients nearly 3 days a week and the Cottonwood Heights location of Blue Lemon recently closed because they are building a new location on 5300 S and State. I had promised a client Blue Lemon and shifted my order to the Sandy location. This was the first time I had used this location for catering and they were fantastic. I placed an online order for 25 meals. I received a phone call explaining that they didn't have enough shrimp for all of the shrimp tacos I had ordered due to a supply chain issue. They were good to call and offer a substitute. The meals were ready for me to pick up on time, the food was hot and delicious. Thanks Blue Lemon Sandy!
Discussing. I'm from Montana and took 2 adult sons and families out to eat... 1st and last eating at Blue Lemon. Couldn't find a clean table. After I asked for napkins to clean a spot to eat, they STILL didn't clean one for us. Just gave me napkins.... WOW! I'm a business owner and understand how important good CLEAN service is. Food was good, but I have to question if IT was clean??
I usually love blue lemon. But this was disappointing. I ordered 4 kids items, two entrees, and two burgers.The kids meals and entrees were great. But we had all finished eating them before the burgers even came out. The burgers came about thirty min later.One was supposed to be mushroom and swiss. Not a mushroom in sight. Just a ton of onions. The other was supposed to have fry sauce. There wasn't any because it was a Sunday, they were out. I got some mayo and made my own.I had been there so long and we had shared our food with my two kids that got the burgers, so they didn't even want them by that point anyway. Overall it just kind of ended the whole meal on a down note and made me forget how good the rest of the food was.
I typically love Blue Lemon and in particular the Korean bowl, I think that's what it is called. Unfortunately, on this last visit, the food was really slow to come out and the rice in the bowl was still crunchy. For nearly 13 bucks, I would expect more. Really disappointed this time around.
The signature bacon burger was so good! I have eaten at Blue Lemon a few times and honestly I didn't really love the other items I got, but the hamburger today was A++
Had never been here before and was pleasantly surprised! Food is excellent quality, their salads are delicious. Highly recommend.
We love this place and eat here often. The chicken gnocchi soup had only 3 gnocchi and too much celery and carrots. The pear gorgonzola salad never disappoints. Still delicious.
