Loved the bowls my mom and I ordered. Manager was super sweet and wanted to make sure we got the best bowls and service. Will be back again soon!
Awesome cafe with a simple menu and great flavor. I got the bowl with white rice and steak.
Always great food. I love that they are conscious about offering good vegan options (the tofu is killer!).
Great food and great experience!The employee Azure was super helpful and even recommended a delicious meal (bahn mi wrap with half yaki soba noodles and rice) and a great drink combo (strawberry lemongrass with a squirt of thai mango). So good! We’ll be back!!
I have hosted a several events at work and they always do a great job setting up our food order. The food we get is really good quality and everyone likes it. It's gluten and vegetarian friendly. So it has fit a majority of our guests.
Great place for a quick service lunch. Tofu is fire. Haven't had much else. Been going here since they opened. Servings have been short but expected with how expensive everything is getting.
I ordered a salad through door dash and they didn’t put lettuce in it... I thought maybe this was my fault and you need to click a button for Romaine lettuce but I went back and there is no button for Romain lettuce. I called the store and talked to a guy (just to let them know because a salad should have lettuce) and he was so rude to me. How does someone like that work in customer service I have no idea.
Zao used to be one of my all time favorite spots to eat. I feel like the portions are getting smaller and smaller. It’s definitely no longer worth it for a tiny $11 rice bowl.
Zao is one of our favorite qsr’s, but this location in sugar house has literally never had correctly cooked white rice. I have ordered white rice there ~7 times and literally every time, the rice is mushy and clumped together like they used too much water too cook it. Every time I go I order white rice hoping they fixed the issue, but it’s gotten to the point that I will only order tacos from this location. This would easily be a 5 star if they could just fix this one issue. The staff is really nice and pleasant and it’s always clean.
Dearest employees. I know your job is hard as in all customer service jobs (as is mine!) I just want to BEG that you do not forget the sauce that goes with the bowl…otherwise what’s the point? It’s super dry and eating without the sauce is not what I was looking forward to… ?
