There was a hair in my salad!!!! I ate some of the salad and discovered the hair (it was a mans hair). I am absolutely disgusted. If you are in the food industry wear a hair net or a hat! I will never come back, I'm very mad. Money down the drain.

So I stopped by for the first time in over twenty five years (moved from Utah) and I am 100% amazed at how nothing has changed! The food is 100% on point and just as good as I remember it from my first visit and the staff was just as friendly too! What a great institution and I'm beyond happy to see this place thrive!

We ask for chicken souvlaki with salad and a side of rice. The salad was cold, just out from the fridge, not fresh. Salad dressing had no taste. Chicken souvlaki was tasteless. Greek cuisine in this minimum standard has to have any flavor. This chicken has non. We could see had spices but needed a little more salt...the spices did not have flavor seemed to be coming from a container and are too dry to season the meat. The lemon rice was good, so there you have a salad of 95% lettuce, 4 half slices of tomato, and 2 slices of cucumber. They charge us the full price of the souvlaki we ask did not want rice or French fries an instead we like salad. So we were charged for the salad too.

I went to Yanni's for dinner last night and I realized I've been eating there for over 30 years. I get the Chicken Souvlaki dinner with rice, a delicious pita, and I get a Greek Salad along with it. In 30+ years, I've never been disappointed. The food is super tasty; best Greek in the Valley. The lemon rice is tart and delicious. That pita!!! Salt it a bit while it's still warm, and it just melts in your mouth. The Greek Salad with ALL THAT FETA and the amazing dressing.... I'm eating leftovers right now, and it's still tasty even then next day!

i LOVE this place. the chicken souvlaki is AMAZING. my favorite is pita. it is perfectly toasted and so yummy. i wish they had a location in taylorsville! i would go there so much. so good. 10000000/10

My family has been going to Yanni's for decades. It was my favorite place to eat when we would visit SLC when I was a kid, and it's my favorite Greek place now that I live here. My favorite is the chicken souvlaki with lemon rice and tzatziki! Sometimes you'll see Yanni at the drive through window and I still get excited, it's like seeing a celebrity haha! Thank you for the memories and the delicious food.

Excellent food. The lemon rice, gyros, souvlaki, fries, burgers, salad, everything. The price stings, but on the other hand, if it was any cheaper I'd eat half my meals there.

There must have been a significant change for the better in the last few years, because the negative reviews I'm seeing on here do not reflect my experience with Yannis at ALL. Yannis is a great Greek and Burgers place. They've got all of the standard fare, reasonably priced, and always fresh and delicious. One of my go-to places when I want a quick burger that's actually good and not from a chain restaurant. My only complaint would be that sometimes I think the fries could use more salt, but that's easy enough to fix. Also they have cheap soft-serve ice cream, which is nice!

Easily one of the best Greek restaurants that I’ve been to. The bread that they wrap the gyro’s in is so fluffy and delicious.

I ordered the Chicken Gyro with a side of fries and a salad. The Gyro was very good. The fries and fry sauce were tasty, and the salad with Greek dressing was also good. My only complaint would be the value for what we got. We got basically fast food fare for about $15 per person.
