A high end bakery with high end prices. A bit of a mixed bag for me, really depends on your tastes. I absolutely love their cinnamon roll, they use a flaky croissant type dough instead of a raised one. I also go here when I'm craving really good shortbread, and the lattes I've had were really good. I don't care much for their brownies, high quality but a bit too heavy and dry with chocolate somehow.
After visiting 3 other bakeries in town in search of a specific product, this was the place we finally bought that sweet raisin swirl. It was delicious. The shop is very nice and authentic with stylish interior. Everything is quick, they sell coffee and packed treats, which we bought as gifts.
Their brown butter/olive oil cake is so good I could cry! It’s very buttery, super moist, and melts in your mouth! The fruit tart is also super good! The raspberries on the tart, reminded me of the raspberries I used to pick in my grandma’s garden. I would also highly recommend their toast with avocado, parmesan, and a poached egg. It’s heavenly! I’ve made it a goal of mine to try everything, because it’s that delicious!
Loved the Olive Oil Cake- that buttercream is amazing! The shortbread cookies were delicious as well. We also ordered the German Chocolate Cake which is good but very rich and dense. I could only eat a bite or two, if it was more moist with a lighter cake- it would be perfect because the coconut/pecan topping was awesome! We will definitely come here again and try the other pastries.
Their baked goods are always so good but they always seem to run out of their morning buns which are my favorite. I've called ahead to put some aside for me but they said no because people in line might want them. If they always run out early on in the day, why aren't they just making more? Today I went at 11:15 and their door was locked. There were lots of people inside and people eating outside so I don't know what was going on.
I can't rave about this place enough. Simply the best pastries, avocado toasts, and breakfast items. Olive Oil cake is to die for!
Delicious pastries, sandwiches and espresso. The cake with brown butter frosting is a big hit.
Order the soft boil egg toast with avocado. Is amazing! Arrive early (before 10 on the weekend) for best pastry selection.
Best pastries in Salt Lake City. The cheesecake was beautifully crafted and tasted so yummy, I dream about it!Very good service and a great selection of tasty treats. My husband & son especially like Tulie's granola.Prices are fair for the excellent food they create. If you're thinking of a birthday or any special occasion cake, definitely see Tulie's.
The pastries were really delicious and looked so amazing.
